Recently built, small tiny houses in a great location with a beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding hills. The place is nicely decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy fireplace. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly and even prepare a small welcome gift in the kitchen. We would have loved staying longer.

Offering a garden and river view, Ásgeirsstaðir Holiday Homes is located in Ásgeirsstaðir, 49 km from Hengifoss and 33 km from Gufufoss. Loved our stay at this holiday home as a stop along the Ring Road - it was large for 2 people, really well equipped, clean and very comfortable with a good shower. We could have easily stayed more than a night! It was great to have a good amount of space, and somewhere to cook dinner and breakfast after a few expensive meals out in Iceland! And it was easily accessed, a short detour off the Ring Road. Very easy to visit Seydisfjordur from here as well. Highly recommend.

Sólbrekka Holiday Homes is located in Mjóifjörður, a remoted fjord in east Iceland. Free WiFi access is available in this holiday home. Super comfortable cottage in a stunning location. The kitchen is well stocked and has a great little stove with oven, the space is compact but well designed and the hot tub on the deck is the icing on the cake. We watched whales and seals in the fjord as we soaked in the hot water. The drive into the fjord is not for the faint of heart, but when you get there you are rewarded with one of the most beautiful views in the country.

No shoes allowed in the house which is good. Owner let us cook our own dinner too! Highly recommend for family

They let us know key codes for doors several days in advance. An amazing place and we will definitely be back!!
