These chalets are amazing. Location is great and it was really comfortable for a family of five. We were really lucky and saw the northern lights in santa claus village but when we got back to the chalet we were treated to an amazing northern lights show! The kids loved sledging around the chalet. There is a really nice restaurant within a short walk and we ate there both nights. Can't wait to return.

The cabin was comfortable and easy to access. We saw the northern lights so easily! During the day we tried snowshoeing, watched the dogsleds, cross country skiing, built a fire, end explored the grounds. I wish we had brought sausages to bbq because the bbq house was so cute! We even rented the sauna for an hour for a turn to get warm and jump in the frozen lake I was skeptical at first when the host told us about it but it was a lot of fun and we jumped in 3-4 times. My kids would have loved this and we are plotting a trip back with families.

Boasting a garden, Harjuniemi features accommodation in Kangosjärvi with access to free WiFi and lake views. Our stay at Jarno’s cottage was absolutely wonderful. The property was pre-heated for our late arrival, the roads were well maintained despite the snow and the owners were very communicative and helpful. The cottage has all the modern facilities that one could wish for including comfy beds, sauna, well equipped kitchen and nice siting area. It is beautifully situated by a lake which freezes over in the winter and which warrants privacy and tranquility. The owners are very caring, friendly and accommodating making the experience one of a kind. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and would love to return in the future. Thank you Jarno and Julia!

The calm and private surroundings, the ability to see Northern lights and deers, everything you need in the kitchen is there, sauna, friendly owner. Very cosy house with Xmas lights. Nice for family and introverts. We enjoyed our stay :) Our daughter loved to play in the house (especially on the second floor)
