Hacienda El Porvenir by Tierra del Volcan is set in a traditional Andean house with adobe walls and thatched roofs. There is a restaurant, and breakfast is included. beautiful setting in quirky old farm cottage, lovely friendly helpful staff, nice food . we loved the welcoming feeling . Hot water bottles put in our beds was a lovely touch . Had 2 wonderful massages with Jessie .Met the owners who gave us some local history .

The owner and staff have done a magnificent job of restoring this 100 year old building to a wonderful condition. Much of the restoration has been completed, and I was impressed by how he/they continue improving even the smaller details. The service was excellent, the building, immaculate, and I especially enjoyed watching the clouds drift up among the surrounding hills in the early mornings.

Oh, my regrets of not booking this place longer. This was a wonderful location for my family. Safe, Secure, Clean, and Fun. Close to Cotapoxi for hiking and other outdoor adventures. Lovely place that the pictures of the dwelling do not do suffucicent justice. Plenty of space and washrooms. Even secure outdoor location for entertainment. Blankets are nice and warm. Really, book this place for a longer stay then we did.

Turismo Comunitario La Esperanza is a farm stay offering accommodation in Cantón Colta. This farm stay features free WiFi and a garden. The restaurant serves local cuisine. Everything was intentional and well laid out. Very comfortable and lots to offer at affordable prices prives for families. Great hospitality.
