As soon as Glen stepped out of his car and greeted us (including our dog), we knew that the weekend couldn't go wrong! He gave us a guided tour inside the cozy cottage, literally in the middle of forest, yet still close enough to the village down the hill. We ordered some BBQ-ready food from Glen and oh, it was so delicious! The deck is covered, so you can BBQ even when it rains. The cottage is decorated with a lot of personal touch and it makes it very homy. In the morning, we could see squirrels and birds out of the windows. We are already planning to come back in the summertime!

The house itself was great - really well built and with eye for detail. The view from the balcony was amazing and so were the premises around the house (all very clean, very well kept, the playground, the pond, etc.). Absolutely amazing.

The apartment is wonderful...the location is in a convenient place...the bus stop is not far away...the view from the apartment is beautiful...the room had everything you need...a kitchen and all kitchen utensils...the bathroom is amazing. I liked everything 😊

The location was perfect. Close to the river and several hiking trails. We walked to the nearby town of Vianden and visited the castle, and we also walked across the nearby bridge to Germany and hiked to a castle on that side of the river. It was beautiful and peaceful!

It was just perfect! The house was very clean and tidy, and has anything you need for a few days abroad. Also the complementaty bottle of local wine was a nice touch :-p The house itself is on a great location as well. Easy access to lots of hiking trails and nice villages in the neighbourhood.
