The place is very cozy, comfortable and clean and Marilena had taken great care of us, making sure we have enough water, coffee and breakfast items. Even if we never met, she was always available on WhatsApp for any questions or requests. The apartment is spacious and private and very well-equipped, including a kitchen (pots, pans, cutlery, etc.) and a washing machine.

He told us about the city, landmarks, good restaurants, bakeries for breakfast /when necessary we used google translate, so - no communication problems/. The location is great. Beautiful, spacious, comfortable 2 bedroom apartment within walking distance to the archaeological sites in Syracuse and about a 20 minute walk to the old town. Self check in/out. Excellent communications from the owner, who also provided suggestions for cafe/bakery/restaurants in the area and also in the old town. No problem getting free on street parking close to the apartment (there is a courtyard in the apartment block where you can park, but this was often full - we just parked on the streets surrounding the adjacent streets)

The perfect apartment in Ortigia! Immaculata greeted us with hugs and kisses upon arrival, gave us a full review of the apartment with all the interesting history, supplied us with special homemade treats and fresh fruit from her farm, and was available for any questions we had. The location was perfect for us to walk all around Ortigia and Siracusa! Our only regret was having only one night here. We will be back and would definitely return to stay here! Grazie!
