Beautiful room and environment. The breakfast was excellent. The best part is the owners. They are so nice and accommodating. They even showed us local coffee and pastries from Puglia.

Most importantly, the whole staff was extremely nice and helpful! The location is perfect for exploring the Salento region and enjoying the beautiful beach Baia dei Turchi. We were even able to use bikes from the accommodation. Our room was being cleaned regularly and had everything one would need. The breakfast included rather sweet food, as usual for Italy, so you would have to ask for other options. We also loved the little food stand with fresh vegetables, fruits and other homemade products.

Visiting La Trottoria was like stepping into a dream. The location is a little oasis in the beautiful Italian countryside, very close to the most outstanding beach and lake. Every mouthful of food was absolutely delicious and made with exceptional ingredients. The room and facilities were spotlessly clean and the pool was a delight. The hosts made you feel at home and were extremely generous and helpful.

It was great to stay on a rural property and have a private cabin - a nice change from city stays. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The surrounding gardens were lovely with lounges and a swinging chair. We liked eating at the outside table. The included breakfast, also taken in the gardens, was delicious and plentiful.

The room was spacious, well equipped and we slept exceptionally well. The next morning, they granted us late check-out so that we could have time to use their spa. The spa was perfectly indulgent: a warm pool, a cold plunge pool, a sauna, a turkish bath, and a warm and cold foot massage pool. Plus, the woman managing it was kind and caring; preparing for us plates with cookies and fruits.
