Very cozy little house, clean and very well taken care of. Self check in was also easy and flexible if you plan to arrive late (but be careful if you don't go by car, see below). There is everything you need incl. some nice touches (like books, maps, lotion etc.). Very quiet and nice area. The outside terrace was a highlight, with games and a grill. We enjoyed the company of the cat and the turtle too. Thank you, we had a great stay!

Spontaneous decision - we've been in Saxon Switzerland for the first time - and consider our choice of apartments as a success! Great home to spend all kinds of family holidays: fully equipped two storey house (lounge with excellent modern kitchen, fireplace and outside patio on the ground floor and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on the first floor). Convenient location - the main locations of Saxon Switzerland within easy motorway access - we were always fresh for hiking experience. The host was very friendly, helpful and easily accessible by phone.

When we got to Saxonia to pick up the keys, Alex (the host) told us that there were some technical problems at Zentrum Apartment and offered us a cozy apartment at Saxonia. The apartment (Karel Gott) was equipped very well and really comfortable. Perfect location - much better than Zentrum Apartment.

Certainly better in the summer when you can use the outdoor area, but it worked great for us as we were out hiking most of the time. But in the winter it’s warm and cosy. Location very quiet and you can hike to many of the walks straight from the chalet. Bus stop close by though.

The house is walking distance to the Elbe river. It features the wellness area with sauna and the bier garden right next to the house. Our booking included breakfast which was very nice as well. It was in another location with the terrace outlooking the river. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, which is intentional, but you can catch free Wi-Fi in the restaurant and beer garden , if needed.
