Phan Tiet is the kingdom of dragon fruits, there are now many new kinds, yellow, red pulp inside - GMos? There are many new resorts coming up, in Phan Tiet and near by Mui Ne, but there are many things to do to rise the level of the place.

We were close to the very popular foodcourt. The local catholic church could get very busy at times. Local food options were good too. Sunset seafront bars were good but the beach wasn't great here. Nearest ATM was a good 1 km away. Local buses back into Phan Thiet took at least half an hour. You wiil need to take a taxinor Grab from Binh Thuan to connect to the North South railway.

It was a great place when the beaches were still usable. Now most of the coastline is gone, as are the resorts that still have beach charges or don't allow non-guests to access them. It never really recovered post-covid, which is sad because it has always been a great place to travel, not too far from HCMC.

Great little stop if you are looking to relax from the hustle and bustle of a big trip through Vietnam. We actually had most of our meals at the Resort restaurant as it was on the beach and the lights and the beach setting at night was amazing.
