The river park was very pretty.
The river park was very pretty. We went on a Kern river festival day ( Not like a UK festival so don’t expect much) people were friendly! Lots of big shopping complexes. Some food joints in the area we stayed but to get a decent meal you would need to drive. We were just passing through so didn’t get a chance to see any of the nature reserve that was close by.

Never choose these lodgings again. Hope is greater than expectations. I had hoped I would fine a joyous birthday. I was meet with disaster. I ordered a steak that was sinewy and grissle. Seasoned as an amateur and grilled like a novice. As a chef I resiant this worthless attempt at making and offering a presentable meal. Same on his/her talents. shame for letting the quality of your brand fall low. I am only one but one that is never more.

Sometimes the cheap hotels in this area are roach infested or have a bunch of loiters. The rain kept the loiters away and I didn't find a single roach so this was a fortunate departure from my normal AirBNB choice; which was booked for my stay.

The bed in this particular room is by far the most comfortable I’ve had in those 20 years. nice and firm, I woke with ZERO back pain like I do at other places. my girl suffers from fibromyalgia and bone spurs on her lower spine and she even got a good nights sleep. Best she’s had at a hotel in a loooooong time.
