we didn't like the upper square (towards the bridge)...
we didn't like the upper square (towards the bridge) renovation. Too empty, almost no flowers or bushes, the circles are empty, only with grass, and trees are missing. In summer too hot and sunny. The flowers are missing. We liked the middle part with more green and big trees. The shops and cafes are nice. I like the old communist features, also appreciated the renovation of the old shopping mall in the upper part (the long building)JIRINASlovakia

They gave several suggestions for restaurants that were much appreciated...we enjoyed our best meal in Slovakia at one of their suggestions! Clean, bright, centrally located hotel. Excellent breakfast too! Parking is excellent, free for guests and the staff even opened the downstairs door to the elevator so my mobility impaired father didn't have to walk down the stairs.LauraGermany
