Out of season it was delightful, unhurried and restful. As I had been on the road almost a week travelling from Cherbourg to central Italy it was a most welcome break.

Great and dreamy area. Very green and nature centered and inviting. Only thing is the lack of supermarkets for groceries. There are grocery shops but very basic with very little selection and very expensive. It is very recommended to do your grocery shopping before coming in this area.
amazing location, very friendly staff, delicious food, warm, clean. We stopped there on our trip to Paris (from Rome). It is an old but totally renewed small hotel in a very small village, up on the montain, where the time has stopped some hundred years ago. The view is fabulous and waling in the tiny roads of the village is an unique experience. The staff were absolutely nice and cared about every minute of our stay. i will definetively use the Locanda Alleve next time I will be in the area.
The apartment was big enough for our family of four and was located in a very cute village near Pragelato. The apartment had the main basic appliances except for a microwave. The balcony was also useful and the view was precious! I loved walking up with that view and the sound of the cow's bells. There was also a little mini-market located within a 5-minute walking distance. Many walks started from the village and we could walk with the kids very easily.
We liked the apartment and the area very much. It is in a small and very authentic village not far from Pragelato and Sestriere ski areas. The apartment is very well furnished and well equipped, with a nice balcony and view over the village. We received detailed info about our arrival, although it was still a little difficult to find the entrance of apartment building, maybe because when we arrived, it was already dark. We had a nice stay there.
The apartment is located in a very small village which was nice and felt remote. It was really quiet around the apartment and as a family, we enjoyed the peace. We could relax after a whole day of skiing in the nearby Pragelato and Sestriere.
The property is really amazing: size is perfect, very well located, very warm and cozy. Everything you need to have during a stay in Pragelato! And the added value: incredible kindness of the owners.
