great location, great people at reception, we were able to use some of the hotel facilities.
The apartment was lovely, but whoever sleeps in the upstairs bedroom has to deal with narrow stairs and no walls. However, it is still a wonderful property.

Luino is a charming town on Lake Maggiore.
Luino is a charming town on Lake Maggiore. It’s very close to the Swiss border and Lugano—so prices are more affordable. (: Wednesday Market in Luino is not to be missed. We heard a lot of favorable commentary and it didn’t disappoint. Plan on spending at least a half day to see it all. Highly recommended.

Of all the Italian Lake areas that I've been to, This one was the least attractive. The weather was very hazy and the beautiful views were just not there. The traffic is horrendous. It ruins any outing. There are few aerial cableways to get you into the mountains quickly for hiking, as there are in other lake areas and in Alto Adige.
