Cetara is a great little village to get away from the craziness that is the rest of Amalfi Coast, but close enough to get to all the sites and towns when you want to, and Casa Galano is a good place to stay in Cetara. It is situated above the Piazza where we could watch the goings on from the balcony each morning, and easy to get down into the town itself, with access to local shops and restaurants only minutes away. The main coast road bus stop was a minute away, with the major towns on the Coast about 30-45 minutes away. The apartment was clean and comfortable.
Offering mountain views, A Pastaiola is an accommodation situated in Cetara, 500 metres from Spiaggia del Lannio and 700 metres from Tuoro Vecchio Beach.

All around spectacular. Really cute with a great patio, and the loft space was great for kiddos. The loft has two twin beds with low ceilings. The town is my favorite on the coast, much quieter but still beautiful. The host was great with snacks and fresh food waiting and made a great effort to fix internet problems (a line was down to the region). I wish we could be there now!
Offering city views, B&B Domus San Pietro is an accommodation situated in Cetara, 400 metres from Spiaggia del Lannio and 600 metres from Tuoro Vecchio Beach.

We spent 5 nights in the apartment and would like to come again. The apartment is very spacious and very well equipped. Beds are very comfy and 2 bathrooms help to organize the family life 😉 All rooms have amazing sea view and enormous terrace invites to spend time in the morning and evening. But the unique selling point is the private sunbathing terrace with private water entry. It gives the sense of privacy and comfort and water is great for snorkeling with quite reach sea life. Highly recommended!
Set in Cetara, 400 metres from Cetara Beach and 600 metres from Spiaggia del Lannio, a casa mia holiday rental offers air conditioning.

Cetara is a beautiful small quiet village close enough but away from busy Amalfi and crazy busy Positano. The apartment had everything we needed. Luigi was responsive and helpful.

Beautiful fisherman place with stunning beach and nice people. Beautiful restaurants, nice park, port.... everything is just enough for stay and enjoy italian life.
You can come to Cetara from Salerno with ferry, so you can have a beautiful panoramic view. Or with a bus (SITA bus from Salerno, or shuttle bus from Napoli airport via Vietri sul Mare)

Don’t overlook the hotel restaurant for dinner, as the quality and prices were excellent! Just make sure you have early reservations if you don’t want to eat at 9:00!
The front desk was instrumental in denting us a great boat for $200 for the day allowing us to skip the traffic and see the Amalfi Coast from the water! You can get with a skipper if you like! They even picked us up at the hotel dock so very convenient!

Cetara is a great place to feel the Italian way.
Cetara is a great place to feel the Italian way. The small conversations with the locals and not to overwhelmed with tourist (April / May) and this helps. We felt that Amalfi is nice but to over rated. Cetara brings you back in time.

CETARA is a cost-effective option for accommodation on the Amalfi Coast. However it is a very small fishing village and hence nothing much to do. We found that the quality of restaurants were not up to our expectations although the prices were very high.

Great location for exploring the Amalfi coast due to good Bus and ferry connections. Also not as crowded as other places on the Amalfi Coast, so great for going to the beach and to restaurants. Pompei, Vesuvius and Ercolano are also close enough to visit from Cetara on day trips.

Cetara is a little village, in an amazing mountain area.
Cetara is a little village, in an amazing mountain area.
Best for couples or families.
Easy to approach with bus or ferry, but need to be planed well as it is in the mountains and public transport can be delayed sometimes.
The room I was in had a fantastic view of Cetara and the ocean. The owners were very kind and helpful. They replied easily and in English. The room was very clean, had lots of storage, and the bed was very comfortable. The owners were helpful and receptive when I had a travel emergency and needed to stay one more night. I really enjoyed the breakfast in the chocolate shop about 3 minutes away from the property. They have excellent brioche (croissants) that can be filled with things like local lemon marmalade.
Im so happy we found this space hidden between the lemon trees in the hills of Cetara. The owner Roberto has created the perfect environment to switch off and relax. Also his knowledge of the surrounding area was really helpful.
We found it easy to get around and to explore as the bus/boats were within walking distance.
We had a beautiful experience camping here, even in the rain, one I highly recommend!!
Extremely helpful owner who lives in the same town - really helped us out when we had locked ourselves out of the flat!
Great location in the Amalfi coast, Cetara has bus and ferry connections up and down the coast. The town itself feels lovely and local, and not overly touristy.
All facilities in flat working, hot water, gas stove, etc.
Fantastic location, right on the seafront in lovely cetara. House is all newly done it seems. Great balcony. As we were there in February’s low season a lot of restaurants were closed. Great explanation with video how to get in, host is very helpful. Parking spot all the way up mountain, bring good shoes if you are going to park your car.
We stayed here for 5 nights during our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. The host has amazing communication and she’s got great knowledge of the area, was very kind and patient with us answering our millions of questions. Cetara is a nice and quieter town, was really nice to get away from all the crowds. Would definitely recommend.
a short walk from the beach, ferry and restaurants. clean room. plenty of (sweet) food and coffee etc. available in the kitchen for breakfast. the host’s mother met me at the property and was lovely. the accommodation is on the 3rd floor so this property actually has a lot less steps than other places in Cetara!
Hotel seems to have been recently fully renovated. Fantastic ocean view from rooms and all public venues. Despite room size of only 23sm, our room did not feel small and was very bright. Nice breakfast buffet. Close walking distance to Cetara center. Private beach. Valet parking service available.
Location was peaceful so very helpful to get away from the hubbub of busier locals like Amalfi. Friendly and super helpful hosts.
Tip for future visitors - bus from Salerno will work - but from Cetara to Salerno is very crowded so you rarely get on. Ferry worked best for us.
I have never reviewed someone here, but this host was really nice for us. He did a small tour around this beautiful village. It was one of the cheapest hotels in the amalfi coast with the sea view and we got a pick up, small tour and nice breakfast. 10/10
Martina our host was fantastic , she met us at the property and showed us all the workings at the faculty . The location and view is absolutely spectacular with the authentic gushing village if Cetara a true gem with all that one could ask for !
Francesco was extremely kind. He responded promptly and was very helpful. Although the place is small, it has everything you keed for a comfy stay. Also, the breakfast was probably the best of our stay in Italy. And we loved Cetara!!
A lovely, peaceful B&B. I wish I had stayed longer. It was very clean and in a great location. Cetara is a great place to stay for exploring the Amalfi coast. If I come back to the Amalfi coast I would definitely stay at Reginella.
l love Cetara and I am so glad i can stay at MARINELLA. This is the BEST place one can stay at lovely Cetara. checkin and checkout super cool. I will come back to Cetara and I will only stay here at MARINELLA when visiting again
Tucked away on a quiet part of Cetara on a small farm in the mountains, so peaceful. Francesca and Liliana couldn’t be nicer and more helpful! I would love to stay there again when I come back to the Amalfi coast
Private terrace. Lovely beach. Staff was very helpful. Room is spacious and clean. Amazing views. Definetly recommend taking the breakfast, it was very good. Olny 3 minute walk to Cetara. Would come back.
beautiful apartment in great location. absolutely spotless. hostess was so kind and helped us when our horrible rental car broke down, wonderful place to stay in Cetara. can’t recommend enough!
Clean, modern and functional rooms. Very friendly staff. Great location from which to explore the Amalfi coast. Village of Cetara less crowded than others on Amalfi coast.
