My first visit to Cattolica was in the mid 80s and it has remained a pleasant, safe family resort with a fabulous well maintained beach. We tend to go in June so the beach is not at full throttle - I know in high season it gets very crowded but I can only speak as I find. The promenade has been upgraded since we were last here which was before the pandemic. It used to be mostly decking but is now paved and is much cleaner. There are lots of good restaurants - fresh fish is particularly excellent as it's probably been caught a matter of hours before you eat it! Cattolica still seems to have a vibrant harbour.Johnson - 10Scored 10

The beach is excellent and it's an easy walk around the centre and nearby towns. Nice lively atmosphere at night with plenty of bars and restaurants. Great access by train and buses up and down the Rimini coast plus the option to hire electric bikes and scooter via an app to pick up all around the resort.

Did not get to see the town as beach and boat trips took precedent. Be careful if renting a vehicle as service is limited and expensive and only available from Rimini. you would be better off renting direct from Bologna Airport

Last but not least the breakfast has plenty of choices among sweets and salty food. A lot of 3 stars hotel I was in, were much much worst than this little cheap jewel. There is also a restaurant in the hotel, in case you don't wanna get out for dinner. Really congrats to the management and the entire staff to let my stay be so nice!!TrottaItaly

The pool is just great as it is and as soon as you leave the pool bed they are sanitizing it, ready for use for someone else. Breakfast is okay, not our style but in Italy it's normal that 95% of the breakfast is sweet. Very close to the seashore. Lot's of restaurants nearby, supermarket is two corners away. Air conditioning worked very well, and Wifi was also working well.

Also the staff was more than courteous and assisted us with parking our car. We were there off season so the crowds were minimum. However, I can see where this would be an amazing place to stay in the summer as they are close to the ocean with a large pool and bar.
