Obviously the location and spa is the main draw here, it's amazing. The restaurant was fine, not a huge menu but we self catered for most of our meals. The house we stayed in (The Clubhouse) was nice, fitting 4 adults and 1 child very comfortably.

Ideal location, easy to access to different parts of attractions. Cosy, clean and comfortable house, equiped with everything. Welcome from Border Collie dog was additional surprise for our kids. Excellent location for exploring Reykjavik (although a little far to walk if the weather is bad) Comfortable bed, nice view (we were on the 7th floor). Nice breakfast choice. Very cool theming throughout the hotel.

My son and I arrived late, close to 1am, due to 2-3 hours wait to get the cheap car rental (go with the more expensive ones which have a booth inside the airport). But the place made us happy, we shortly started enjoying our vacation. The receptionist even waited for us that late, and gave us a nice room with the lake view. There are beautiful walks by the lake and in the area, which I recommend. Great breakfast and amazing nice staff!
