I was returning from an International trip, Kolkata was my connecting destination and all of a sudden my flight got cancelled and postponed to 27 of May bcoz of cyclonic Alert, it was around 1AM in midnight.
I was looking for a good hotel nearby and booked there for 1 night(26 to 27 May) and reached at hotel around 2AM. After reaching there I requested for early check in but they told early check in not possible and suggested me to pay for 1 more days then they will allot me a room to take rest. Accordingly I paid full charge of a day additionally but they didn’t allot me room that time.
I spent the whole night on the sofa at reception and allotted me the room around 7.40 AM in the morning.
TAJ ie is a well known name in hotel Industry for it’s hospitality and guest friendly attitude but unfortunately I had a very bad experience that day, even I paid for the full day but I had to spent my night on the Sofa. There is nothing to speak more, overall I didn’t like 👎
