The place is great, but beware of the scams - shoes scam, horses scam, gondola queue jumping scam, and a long queue for entry to the gondola. I dont know if I will get a refund for the cancelled part of phase 2 of gondola ride.RajeevIndia

Athar was extremely helpful, not just when we were in Gulmarg but all throughout our Kashmir trip. Super helpful, quick and easy to communicate with, and cooperative. Could not have asked for better hosts. Their shop also has a lot of variety of takeaways from the region. Since we went there at the end of our trip, we can vouch for the fact that their prices were lower than what you'd find at other tourist spots.

I stayed for a few days on a ski trip and the hosts set me up with equipments, transport and everything else needed at a cheaper price then generally available in the market. home cooked Kashmiri cuisine with kawa made my evening after an active day outdoor.
