The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant is excellent.
This was a great stay for our short trip. Very close to eating establishments and bus and train stations. Lovely and very clean accommodations. We loved Finnegan's Pub where Sean, our bartender really made us feel at home. What a great welcome to Ireland! This place was so well located! We walked from the train station to this property very easily and my husband has Parkinson's. The hotel offered a lift which was great. "The Mall" was literally a two minute walk and full of stores to shop and places to eat. There was also a bus stop very nearby for us to get to Dingle.

Very nice town, and very clean.
There was a lot going on the weekend we were there, but it was still very easy to get around and find parking adjacent to the town centre.
Our kids loved the Aquadome and would have stayed there for the entire visit!.
Tralee was also a great starting point for daytime to Dingle, Killarney, etc.

Tralee is a small town, but that is a large part of its charm. We were fortunate enough to stay in Tralee while they had a street festival in the town square, which made our stay all the more enjoyable.

I can't give many tips after only a one night stay, but I'd definitely recommend a pint at The Blasket pub followed by dinner at Cassidy's. A walk through the rose garden is also recommended.

I enjoyed the friendliness of the people, the Museum of Kerry, the Central Park and of course the live music and Guinness in some of the old bars. Public transport didn’t seem that good though and I decided to take a taxi to the airport which was about 30 Euros with a tip which I thought reasonable for the distance.
Very welcoming and excellent breakfast- a variety of fruit selection and options of breakfast- full Irish, salmon and scrambled eggs or Home made pancakes. Both Tim and Rose are kind and excellent hosts. They made tea for us at any time we wanted. We felt very welcomed. Thanks to the hosts. Tim gave us some useful tips about the local area. The house is just next to Tralee city centre and was a very convenient location to get to Dingle peninsula which is a must visit in Kerry.
We so enjoyed are stay at Conn Oriel B&B in Tralee, Ireland. The owner Peggy’s warm hospitality made it feel as if we were her own favorite relatives arriving! She asked each of us what we like to eat for breakfast and the next morning all requests were prepared at whatever time we wanted to eat! The facility was spotless and it was a 3 minute walk to the shops and restaurants.
Ballyseede Castle is fascinating ! Not only is it a beautiful “ old worldly “ hotel but it’s very much like staying at “ your favorite relative’s home “ where you’re treated like family, the dogs roam freely and are so loving and you immediately feel at ease. I travel solo and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ballyseede. It was truly one of the highlights of my trip in Ireland.
Room was comfy and spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and obliging, particularly the young lady on reception who checked us in and the gentleman who worked through the night. Food was excellent. Location perfect near to everything in Tralee town. We would definitely stay here again. For a 3 star hotel, exceeded all of our expectations.
if you want to stay in a castle in Ireland, I recommend Ballyseede Castle. it's a lovely property and you do feel like royalty on the grounds, in the restaurant and in the rooms. Very lovely staff. afternoon tea is a bonus as are the nearby woods. breakfast is over the top. The price is very approachable compared to other castles.
Excellent dining facilities for dinner/lunch in downstairs pub and breakfast in separate ornate dining room. Good variety of food choices on menu for dinner/lunch with large helpings, and Irish breakfast were the best in our two week trip to Ireland/Scotland. Very friendly staff. Great location in downtown Tralee.
Very nice location with great views, good restaurant and good breakfast, comfortable room, two types of pillow. For visits to Tralee and the Dingle peninsula, I'd strongly recommend this hotel. Would not think twice to stay here again if we are back in this beautiful region.
stayed here a few years ago, it did the job, but an unbelievable change since. The hotel itself is done up exceptional, the food was great, staff couldn’t have been nicer. Value for money was brilliant too, would defo be my first choice if we were to stay in Tralee again.
Hotel is lovely & the food & service for our evening meal & breakfast was great. Our rooms were comfortable, clean & had everything we needed. Perfect location for touring the Wild Atlantic Way. The town of Tralee is nearby & it looked nice as we travelled through.
The owner was warm and welcoming . We wanted something different during our trip as we were staying at larger hotels and resorts and chose to stay at Barrow Lodge to try something different
Great location in the centre of Tralee.
Lovely room with good facilities.
Had a lovely dinner and breakfast, fantastic value.
Really nice staff throughout the hotel.
Loved the hotel, decorated in the art deco style.
The whole staff are super friendly.
Bed was very comfortable.
I liked the online check in.
A great Irish breakfast
Very pleased with the service I received at Tralee Townhouse. Room was very comfortable, good location in Tralee. Michael was very helpful and attentive.
