What a beautiful hotel! These pictures don't do justice to it. Beautifully maintained gardens, nice spacious rooms (we had a 2-floor apartment with kitchen and 3 balconies), so perfect for families. Very peaceful. Beautiful restaurant and pool area, with a beach on one side and mountain backdrop on the other.
Amazing staff. Great breakfast.

Mix of resorts and private buildings, shopping easy and plentiful, good Lidl supermarket nearby, easy bus access to Chania, well-located near highway if you have a hire car and wish to drive further afield. Not overburdened with restaurants, bars and tourist traps, and not every site had legions of silly sunbeds

We drived to Elafonisi beach and took around one and half hour from the hotel. It's amazing scenery on the way there. Some parts of the road are quite narrow and winding. Must drive with caution. The beach is very beautiful and has also pink sand. The water is shalllow, clear with a turquoise color and smooth waves. We also take a day trip cruise to Balos beach and Gramvousa

Gerani is a quiet area 25 minutes outside of Chania and easy to reach by car or bus if you choose. Great base for sightseeing the northwest beaches. Close to restaurants and markets if you have a rental car or don’t mind walking about 10 minutes. Safe area to walk at night. Easy to teach Balos Beach, Elafonisi and Falassarna Beaches.

Such a lovely 'part of the world', plenty to see and experience. We chose to use Gerani as our base and visited other parts of the island staying one night elsewhere ie: (Iracleon). One week was clearly, not enough for Crete, will need to come back.

If you are looking for one of those small and cosy hotels right on the beach a bit outside of the city, where the staff is more like a family, you don't have to compete with other guests about reserving a sunbed with towel, have real orange juice at breakfast - this is it. We had a really nice 2-week long holiday with our family and had the best time. It is also worth mentioning, that the food tastes so good! Besides the menu they have a daily special and we didn't have anything that we didn't love.
Excellent hotel both for its facilities and staff. Amazing breakfast with great variety of choises for all tastes - complementary fresh orange juice and all types of coffees. Professionalism and hospitality of the staff were beyond all expectations. The room was really spacious with all necessary needed. Overall an unforgatable experience. Mr. George Operation's Manager as well as Alexandra, Roula and all the staff was really helpful and hospitable. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!
If you’re looking for a clean, centrally located, nice family run hotel this is the place.
Facilities are very clean. Rooms are large and the pool and bar were always a great place to spend some time.
The staff went out of there way to ensure our stay here was pleasant and accommodated our family’s needs.
I don’t think you can find a better overall hotel to stay for the price.
We definitely recommend this hotel for any type of stay.
The location, the ambience, the welcome, the hosts, the food - everything.
It is located righht on the beach and guaranteed not to be crowded.
You feel right at home, it doesn't feel like it's a hotel, more like a home away from home.
A warm welcome is guaranteed by Maria and Kostas, and the delicious food is prepared by Maria - real home-cooking with vegetables from the their garden.
It's a real relaxing get-away - I will be back!
The hotel was great with a beautiful view to White Mountains. The staff was very helpfull and kind. The pool was great, plenty of sunbeds for everyone, beach close by, markets, bakery, taverns and a bus stop all with a walking distance. Perfect place for a relaxed holiday close but far enough from all the hustle of bigger villages.
Maria was a wonderful hostess and with her and the cleanliness, our stay was A+. The hotel is located in a perfect spot right next to the ocean. Few restaurants here and there close by, but you need to walk a bit or take a taxi to get anywhere with more people and bars. For the most days, it felt like we had our own private pool!
Very friendly family owned small hotel. A bit far from the main street, but there's a bus every 20min. Or just rent a car.
The facility is basic but sufficient and great value for money. We were let to check out at 2000 with no problem and at no additional cost, which was very nice.
The overall experience was great.
The best thing is that we booked the hotel for only two nights (though I was seriously considering to move out immediately).
The beach near hotel is not nice but it has some turtle nests on it (marked and fenced), which is an interesting to see (though, of course, this has nothing to do with the hotel).
Fantastic food! Well-made homecooked Greek dishes. Great variety. Extra plus for the friendly kitchen staff who brought out special food to my picky son on request :-) Nice, quiet hotel area. Table-tennis in two separate spots, one in the shade which was great for daytime games.
Attention is great from the first moment you arrive.
The roof bar is amazing and the People that work there too!
Food in the buffet is good.
Our kids had a great time in the kids club, nice Personal!
Good to have a mini market inside the hotel and with a lot of good products.
The hotel is new and fresh. Amazing food with a lot of choices . Staff was very polite and helpful.
I will definitely go back .
Nice location by the beach .
Ideal for couples seeking comfort and relaxation.
We spent two weeks in the hotel. Only the best memories. Great room, very comfortable bed. Excellent pool. Pleasant, peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Access to the beach directly from the hotel.
The hotel is much nicer than the pictures. Butifule place, great beach and pool. The restaurant is really good and the stuff are nice and helping.
We will be happy to come back!
- The whole staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Tea.
- Breakfast was nice and fresh.
- The sea view from the hotel.
- Swimming pool was nice eventhough a bit small.
I arrived late arround midnight but the owner was there to give me the kye and show me the room.
Nice.
The rooms themselves are O.K. for a hotel af this standard.
Beautiful hotel, lots of sun beds at the pool and and at the sea. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and kind! Breakfast was delicious and had lots to offer.
The location of the hotel is very quiet. Perfect for families that doen't like bustling cities and crowded beaches. The sea view from balcony also was very nice.
