The kindness of the hosts who stayed up late to welcome us after a delayed flight and prepared a small breakfast that we could eat in our rooms before we left early in the morning on the last day. The place was centrally located - a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre and a 2 minute walk from the beach and Lido. A nice cooked breakfast! The guesthouse had lots of leaflets and was located in a quiet area. Great value for money - a neat and clean place in a lovely and safe location!

My and my mam loved our stay at the Runneymede. My mam worked here in 1984 and it was fun for my mam to stay here. Really lovely hotel. The restaurant food was very good value for money and the room was a great size and very comfortable. It was really close to the beach and the Lido and short walking distance into the centre of St helier.
Marina Metro Hotel is superbly situated on the seafront, overlooking the bay at Havre des Pas, one of St Helier's lovely beach areas with safe bathing either from the beach or in the open-air bathing...

It's quiet if you are trying to avoid the busy areas.
It's quiet if you are trying to avoid the busy areas.
But there's not much to do. But there are plenty buses to get round.
The few restaurants are expensive with not a lot of variety to choose from. Head into town if you want decent food, not cheap either but at least you have a choice!

Too busy, Too noisy traffic, people wise overpriced pub meals at restaurant prices, and a lack of things to do. Have to keep relying, paying out for buses in order to explore areas, and have somewhere to go, things of interest to do.

Hotel was as described.
Hotel was as described. No air con in rooms was awkward as temperatures that week were 38C every day. A fan was provided but we took our own too which was just as well. Quite a bit of traffic noise from the beach front road outside as we had to have the window open wide each night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were OK but a little repetitive although you could ask for options not on the menu. Parking was an issue some evenings due to number of large workmen's vans taking up the spaces.
The whole experience was a pleasure, the team at the hotel/guest house were amazing, breakfast was served piping hot and without delay each and every day! They were so accomodating for us that in all honesty I wanted to stay longer. The location for me and my young family was amazing, just a few hundred steps to the beach for a swim or a bus stop to explore this little island. All I want to say is thank you for your efforts and making us all enjoy our stay.
The location and views of the hotel are as good as it gets if you are after a peaceful stay with amazing sea views. Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to check out the pool due to the Great British weather. There is a lovely pub close by.
A shout-out to the lovely man at the reception who helped us arrange a taxi for an early-morning flight. Notably, this wasn't as easy as it sounds as there are fewer taxis on the island than you would expect.
B&B-style hotel (no breakfast) on a quiet street. Restaurant nearby and close to the shore. Take bus 1 or 1a (different stop, but a block past the roundabout) after the tunnel from downtown. I walked back to the bus station / main square on the way back to pick up the airport bus. Comfortable budget accommodation, and courteous front desk staff with enough brochures to assist the tourist as well. I would book again.
We had a balcony room with a sea view including breakfast. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the breakfast menu was extensive. The staff were friendly and helpful. The heated outdoor pool, which I used twice was very warm and clean. We ate dinner at the hotel for two nights and whilst the dinner menu was not extensive, it was different every day and included at least four choices of main course.
The sea opposite is tranquil and this Hotel was possibly the best choice with only a small distance to St Helier. Room service excellent, staff were attentive, pleasant setting, great location for views of St clements Bay, relaxed atmosphere in evening.
Close to M&S for essentials and bus routes easily accessible if not using car. Quiet Beach with takeaway food close by.
The location was central to both Gorey and at Helier’s with a bus stop near by.
The hotel has a lot of hassle free parking at the rear so there was. I worries about parking disks.
The front desk staff were amazing as well as the staff at the restaurant and our room was always well cleaned and spotless when at the end of the day.
The hotel is located adjacent to the beach. The public transport is excellent with buses running every 15 minutes past the hotel, 10 minutes into St. Helier. The hotel staff were so pleasant and helpful at all times, with lovely breakfasts. Very good clean bedrooms with beautiful view across the bay.
The breakfast was fantastic, and the lady running the hotel was really lovely and friendly and helpful. When we had an issue on day 1, she offered to change the room for us. Lovely location and car park really close by which is free after 6pm
I enjoyed the location.it is a confortable hotel.easy access. I liked it.i’d compa It to a Normandy styled hotel. Confortable bed,I had everything I needed. Lovely towels, plenty of them. Nice bathroom heating.
To sum it up this hotel is a great family run establishment. Great service, food, swimming pool and lovely room with stunning sea views.
Don’t waste your money on pretentious overpriced others!
