The Chesterhouse, hotel in Peel

Ideally situated on the seafront in Douglas, this hotel features comfortable en suite accommodation with a full range of modern facilities and in-room accessories.

The staff were very friendly and we were always met with a smile and a warm greeting. There was always time for a chat in between their duties. It was clear that from the house keepers to the managers, every one of them strived to make the hotel the best it can be. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable and the sea view was amazing. The breakfast was superb and well presented. The hotel is very well placed for access to the shops, bars, restaurants and the ferry port. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip.

Peel is historically interesting and varied, comprising a fishing port/marina, castle and sandy family friendly beach. Varied eating places but limited in number, I went self-catering. Peel is very easy traverse on foot. Winter isn't the best time to visit.
