Breakfast was very good, maybe too much food! Second morning seemed as if there was only one member of staff on duty doing everything apart from cooking it... Location is perfect for us, we have been coming to St Marys' ever since it opened 8 years ago. The rooms are large and comfortable.
The Premier Lodge is just 2 minutes’ walk from Morpeth town centre, which includes the famous Sandersons Arcade - a 30-million pound shopping centre.

It’s located in the most beautiful meadow field, secluded and surrounded by trees. A proper escape.

We did part of the Northumberland Coastal walk (Cresswell to Dunstanburgh) and found the locals to be very friendly. Lots of free car parks near the coast, very well sign posted and plenty of benches.

Came for the Northumbrian Gathering.
Came for the Northumbrian Gathering. It's a great event if you like folk music and dancing. Lots of local culture. Talented artists. And the town itself is very attractive. It is small enough to park and walk to all places of interest.

Secret Cottage, Morpeth (Host: Alex) Morpeth was fine but accommodation and host not so good. Reported a major fault (no lighting in the main bathroom) this was not repaired during stay and to add insult to injury the host lied about everything in response to my review of Booking.com. Please don't trust this host or give him any of your hard-earned cash as he doesn't deserve the business. He was totally unsympathetic and had a terrible attitude. He said "go ahead and report to Booking.com because at the end of the day it is up to the host if a refund is given". AVOID THIS HOST!

Morpeth is a lovely little town.
Morpeth is a lovely little town. Highlights for me were the bagpipe museum - really is great - the park and all the little shops, especially the cheese shop by the clock tower. I went in windy January on a bicycle, which was not ideal, but I still really enjoyed myself.

We were only there for one night for a family birthday so did not get the opportunity to visit all the shops in the town centre. We did go to a fantastic Italian Restaurant Lollo Rosso which served amazing food and such attentive and friendly staff.
Location in Morpeth centre close to shops and bars and we had a fantastic stay away. The place was very clean and such a nice warm feel with the exposed brickwork and wood.
Well heated apartment with all the amenities
I cooked Thai food first night after a few drinks down the street in nice hotels and bars
Would recommend the property to anyone.
Only thing is that there is a lot of steps upto "the loft" but we more than capable but could see it been an issue for people with disabilities
Will certainly be going back
Thankyou
Very clean. Nicely done. Inviting. Great location to the lovely town Morpeth. We stayed there as a base to look for a house as we fancy moving up to that area. Town is only afew mins walk with some great shops. Only used the hot tub once on the Tuesday morning. Lovely. Great kitchen. Nicely decorated and fitted out. Just how I would do it so Alex great taste.
Great to have a shower and toilet contained within the hut. Beautiful surroundings, saw a microlight and an aeroplane take off and land which was exciting (particularly for my daughter!) Outdoor seating area perfect for evenings. Owners very responsive to messaging on the app. My daughter slept happily on the sofa bed, the hut stayed nice and cosy all night.
I got to Riverside at 3 pm and rang the doorbell but no one answered. I called and a lady came down the street to let me in. It seemed the owner was away. The room was nice and comfortable except so cold. I know it is June but a little heat would have been nice especially early the next morning. The breakfast was good.
Absolutely beautiful lodge, we have stayed around this area before as it isn’t far from home but once you’re there it feels like a million miles away. Stunning caravan and will be using Lone Star Lodge again very soon. (Thank you for the free wine and crisps!)
Very little to say what we liked about our stay, but if i had to choose anything it would be the location of the hotel and the bed was ok. Clean towels. Apart from that i cant say anything else we liked. Would not recommend.
Very good location to everything in morpeth ,would recommend the two itialian restaurants ,great food and atmosphere .hotel basic but really clean .TV was great .plus tea and coffee in room .staff were wonderful .
The orange juice at breakfast was the only thing I can mention without grimacing.
I had a Northumberland council parking disc so parking was free. It was literally a two minute walk to the main street of Morpeth
Beautiful accomadation extra helpful staff and amazing food and value. Loved they accomadated our two dogs from start to finished, with dog friendly rooms (a decent size too) to a dog friendly eating area.
The staff were very polite and helpful and the quality of food and service both at breakfast and dinner was excellent.
Both my wife and I would recommend a stay at this hotel.
The cottage was well equipped with everything you need and spotlessly clean. It’s in a perfect location and everything within Morpeth is within walking distance of the cottage.
Morpeth is well located we know the area, nice bath and shower facilitys. Was okay when the heating came on was difficult to work it but other then fairly decent.
It's cheap and they always have rooms! Ok if you are in a pinch or at short notice. Bed was ok, no breakfast was available, which is probably a good thing.
