The welcome and the very helpful staff. The food was really excellent and our room was comfortable and beautifully furnished. Cannot praise The Hind's Head highly enough.
Situated on the outskirts of the charming market town of Chorley, this former coaching inn is just a few minutes’ drive from historical attractions such as Astley Hall.

The location suited us as near to family and there are shops and places to eat in the village. The property is well maintained and the breakfast supplies are excellent. The room is very clean
Just off the M61, overlooking the West Pennine Moors, and with easy access to Bolton, Wigan and Manchester, this 3-star hotel offers stylish, modern rooms and an indoor pool.

Although decor a little tired, the bar area was very nice and the room very clean, hot water, & bed & pillows extremely comfortable!

Hinds Head is not in Chorley, but on the edge of Charnock Richard. There are no nearby shops or other facilities. But that is what you expect in a country pub. There were locals both eating and having a quiet drink in the bar. So there was good atmosphere. The roads are not too busy for walking and we enjoyed that but do not expect to be entertained in the area. It was wintry when we were there so we enjoyed sitting beside the cosy coal fire. The beer garden will be lovely during the summer.

It was an overnight stay to attend a funeral nearby. The man on reception was so helpful in telling us of a shortcut to the crematorium. His name was Adam.
Sam in the dining room gave great and friendly service. Thank you to them both.

Chorley has a good market and a Booths supermarket. There's a memorial to WWI pals' battalion. The last time I went there are a Morris dancing festival, and the local record shop was celebrating Record Store Day.
It's a gem of a town. although I thought that the meat and potato pie I bought in the market wasn't that good.

It's a well run spotlessly clean overnight stop and convenient for Preston town which is just one junction away northbound on the M6 Access from the Southbound direction is tricky in that you have to pass the service area and double back to the northbound lane. Chorley itself has nothing of interest unless you live there.

Chorley is a historic market town offering facilities for a diverse range of interests . Since I last visited it has continued to grow its facilities for modern requirements such as shopping and good transport facilities. Sports facilities are diverse and of good quality with opportunities for everything from golf to fishing . You are never far from a range of walks in beautiful countryside or a walk alongside a canal which has its own charm. Cafes abound offering everything from a simple cup of tea to an array of beautiful home made cakes whilst pubs offer great value meals in a family environment
I love staying here. This was my fourth stay. The apartment is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The location is great and whilst it is on a main road the bedroom is very quiet. There is no parking on site but cars can be parked on the street opposite. A frequent bus service operates close by and Chorley centre and railway station is within walking distance. There is an Aldi supermarket, Starbucks, Tesco Express and a large convenience store at the petrol station all within 5 minutes walk.
Often been disappointed because often it is not what you get, not here. I found Inglewood easy to find, only 3 spaces on the front for parking with parking in the street nearby. The family room had one large bed in one room and a smaller bed in the other room, nearby fridge and microwave. The kitchen has an oven which can only be used if someone from the hotel is available, lots of free tea, coffee, milk and cereal that is free of charge. Walking distance to Chorley market and shops, room clean.
Exterior tidy good car park ample parking spaces. Reception clean, drinks machine coffee etc payment by card, complimentary water, leaflets for local area etc. Room clean adequate storage and hanging space. Bathroom clean, bath with shower over, towels. Comfortable bed, t.v. complementary tea, coffee, milk, chocolate and single biscuit per guest.
Overall a nice hotel for overnight stay or work would recommend. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on the good.
Great location away from the motorway noise yet so handy for motorway access. For what normally is a budget hotel location the Ramada at Chorley South had loads of facilities, with a nice restaurant and extras like a hair dryer. Stall were typical friendly northerners, helpful, polite and attentive. Chorley is a great access point for Manchester, Blackpool, East Lancs and the Lakes. Great for parking with loads of Tesler Chargers and a short walk on to the services.
The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and equipped with everything I needed. I particularly enjoyed the shower and it's many different settings. I unfortunately wasn't able to eat there but was informed by the locals that the food is superb. The surroundings in the area are beautiful. Views over the hills of Coppull, Standish and Chorley. Just a short journey to all local motorways.
Grounds at the front. Beyond this all down hill. Stayed in the annex- mattress was filthy. Mould on windows, carpet stained and smelled of mould. Swimming pool area is rotten and roof is dangerous most of it is coming down. It’s actually an embarrassment. Serious money needs spending. Village accommodation looks like a POW camp.
Picked the hotel as ideal for the hospital across the road. My wife stayed here 3 nights while I was in Chorley & South Ribblesdale Hospital.
The room was decent, and the location also has pub & and a restaurant & walking distance into town. The staff were very well mannered & couldn't do enough to help me & my wife.
Very good accommodation,
A bit dated.But very clean
Shower worked fine.
Italian restaurant next door very good.
Reasonable prices.good food.
Will be stopping here again when in area.
Breakfast very good. Toast,cereals,fruit.
Milk in fridge means not looking for shop .
A lot to recommended
Just simply one of the best places I've stayed , and I've been in a few with working all over the North West.
Clean ,comfy plenty of choice for food, bonus of a great view from the window., Heating you controlled yourself..
I'd definitely stay here again.
Location was lovely, scenery was beautiful. Swimming pool was nice addition and free to use for hotel guests as too were the lockers. Restaurant food was nice, portion sizes were good and reasonably priced.
Cleanliness. staff very friendly. Location ideal for us visiting family in area.
We paid £45 very good value for money including breakfast stayed in a lot worse hotels for over twice the price 😁😁👍👍
