The room was spacious & comfortable. Tea & coffee facilities in the room. The bar area was pleasant & most of the staff friendly & helpful (the gentleman who checked us in not at all - not even a welcoming smile) - special mention goes to the young man who served us during our evening meal, who was helpful & friendly. Gluten free bread offered at dinner. The parking area was large but, as we were on motorcycles, not very secure.
Located near the river in the city centre, this 4-star hotel is just 300 metres from Belfort Train Station. It offers free Wi-Fi access and contemporary rooms with a minibar.

We’ve stayed there a few times and liked it but it’s not as good as it was. We went out for breakfast . The carpet in our room is very worn. Outside it’s very scruffy and untidy.
Weeds growing by the entrance, not swept, dirty barks on the walls.
We’ve decided we don’t stay there again unfortunately .

the place itself was nice but the personel was, how to call it, very formal, nothing of a real and honest hospitality. We entered and the lady showed up on the stairs looking down on us from the first floor without a word. I also looked at her without a word because I am not used to such welcome.....ice cold!!

Easy to find and close enough to town. We enjoyed the walk among the river back. Room was clean and spacious enough. The indoor car park was nice for the motorbike.

It is a charming town on a river. The old town is nice with the catherdral and the main square offering gastronomic experience with its many restaurants and cafés. The new city centre offers shopping facilities as well as restaurants and cafés. The citadelle is well worth climbing. There are wonderful forests around Belfort and fortresses to climb. There is a big lake with a park around and also a lake a bit further away, good for swimming as well. Belfort downtown is easy to walk around and visit. The surroundings offer countless and colorful possiblities of relaxing (hiking, biking, swimming, etc.). Do not miss out on it, if you are driving that way.

The citadelle is worth the trip alone: walking through the many passageways, all the way to the very top for a great viewpoint. Don't miss a visit to the lion!
We had a great dinner at Le Pot au Feu.
The old town is quaint and great to walk around.

Great flea market every first Sunday of the month which unfortunately finishes at 1pm?! (absurd). This would make for a great monthly rdvz which would be probably much more successful.
Great boulangerie L.François in the city center with amazing croissants.
The fort is impressive as the Lion de Belfort.
City activity is towards zero but it seems City Hall does not do as much to liven it up, i.e. the great flea market that finishes at lunch time. Here is an idea, hold in Saturday and until late in the evening with music and food, this will probably earn the city overnight stays as well.

It is a charming town not far from the Swiss and German borders. The old town is beautiful and the fortress is worth a visit. I have been to the city several times and I always am surprised pleasantly by this little town. It keeps developing and getting nicer. There are hills around it, there are lakes and many other things to see and visit. There are also good shopping possibilities nearby. One can find good food and coffee as well. The ice cream factory shop was this time a very pleasant discovery.

I was in Belfort just for a Stopover to Germany.
I was in Belfort just for a Stopover to Germany. Belfort seems to be a "normally" smaller town surrounded by an industrial area. I would guess that there is nothing special to see but I was just about an hour in the City Area of Belfort itself and that on a Sunday, so I might be wrong about this. The Hotel I booked was outside the City in that industrial area so just the next morning I took a short ride into the City Area of Belfort and it seemed to have a quite older and maybe really nice History ("Belle Fort") but apparently I did not have the time to have a look for that as I had to ride back to my Hometown in northern Germany.

Belfort for us was a transit stop for us but we wish we could have stayed longer when we arrived. Strategically located between the Rhine and Rhône Belfort is steeped in history and is actively making its history more accessible to visitors. A great walking town the Citadel and museum were all that we could fit in. The museum has an amazing collection of military memorabilia and a great display of material from the studio of Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, the French sculptor who was born in Belfort but best known as the creator of the Statue of Liberty in New York. You cannot miss his huge stone Lion at the foot of the Citadel. Would highly recommend a minimum of three days.
We almost always stay here when we are in Belfort. The aparment is clean and nice and comfortable. It is well-equipped. The hostess is extremely friendly and helpful. She always offers welcome drinks and snacks. There is a street parking, but it is free and safe as there are cameras around the building. There is a nice park behind the building where you can walk or just relax. Great place to stay.
The breakfast was traditional French, so it started a little late for me. The selection was good and the quality was excellent.
The hotel is typical of locally owned properties in Europe. It has local flair, as such, the rooms are a bit smaller than a chain hotel. it was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay. The location and view from my room was excellent!
Very nice and quite location, near by a number of shops, such as Lidl, etc. Lots of parking place is on the street near by, and also near by the entrance stairs to the building. The enormous fortress of Belfort is near by, at the walking distance from the apartment.
No disturbing cleaning service in the morning, very good compared with other French hotels!
Nice room size, big toilette.
Good heating considering outer temp of 2°C.
Good room noise isolation.
The hotel was clean,
the lady at the reception spoke good English,
big parking,
small store facility in the hotel lobby where you can buy water/chips/alcohol
Good value for money
Surprisingly calm given the fact that you sleep basically on the highway. As usual with this type of cheap hotels, usually easy to get to and to leave. OK for a quick stop over.
