We simply love Colera; life at its best! Simple, relaxed and friendly.
Discover small beaches in the area (Platja del Burro), local vineyards or small villages. Eat local, simple and enjoy the cold beers :-)
The breakfast is typical Catalunyan with cheese and processed meats. I'm a vegan but I'm accustomed to bringing my own breakfast and just asking for fruit and hot water. Their dinner menu was also typical, and it would have been nice to have a veggie option other than a salad, like a loaded veggie burger or baked potato.
Other than the food, the hosts were super nice, very accommodating. The room was clean, the shower nice and hot, and the beds comfy enough. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back! :)
The room was faultless although a kettle and coffee would have been nice. Builders arrives quite early the following morning and the hosts dog was barking early. Breakfast was supposed to be included in the price but when I went down to eat the door was closed and there was no service. One host was dealing with the builder and the other ( who was in her dressing gown - very unprofessional ) seemed more interested in the dog.
What a lovely hotel in a beautiful village. we were walking the Cami de Ronda so it was just an overnight stay, we arrive late but the hotel manager waited for us to arrive and showed us around. The room was very clean and well maintained. the bed, bedding and towels were all good quality. Breakfast the following morning was amazing. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I would definatly recommed staying
super comfy beds(even if singles)..we slept like babies (November). The host family is AMAZING, absolutely welcoming and open and top friendly . Dining at the restaurant was a pleasure : we will keep in our memories this awesome experience . Great position: colera is a charming laid back town (300 inhabitants)in catalunya ; breakfast was rich and complete, unfortunately only from 9.00 am .Shower was a delight!
The locaton is superb and Àngels, the host, was very warm and welcoming. She gave us all sort of indications about the village: where and what to eat, where to go, how to get there, how to get to the station... The apartment was spotlessly clean, and we really felt like at home.
Simple, clean and comfortable room. No lift but a short climb to the top floor. Lovely restaurant with blazing fire on a cold December night and some interesting art on display. Short walk to the sea. Lovely host. Excellent breakfast, large shower
Lovely couple managing this hotel. The room was spacious, very clean and well equipped. It is close to the beach and other great villages in the area. The breakfast was very generous and delicious. Would definitely come back!
The village of Colera is very cute, the train that runs through takes you to many different villages you can explore and there is an awesome hike that starts in Colera. The host was very very kind we liked he a lot.
