Copenhagen was a perfect intro to Europe, almost everyone...
Copenhagen was a perfect intro to Europe, almost everyone there speaks English so if you are traveling from the U.S. you don’t need to worry about that. The city is beautiful, walkable, and full of things to do and food to try. Many photo opportunities and places to sit and relax, or go for an excursion like a canal tour or bike ride. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler. The prices were comparable to what I am used to in the U.S., about $15-25 for lunch, $35-50 for dinners. Don’t get caught in tourist traps- for example the prime canal tour with the big signs costs 179 kr per person, but there is a small booth right down the road where tickets for the same canal tour are only 60 kr per person, save a few bucks where you can! Almost every site will tell you to see the Little Mermaid. They will pass the statue on canal tours, and it’s known as the most “disappointing tourist attraction” so save some time and just see it on the tour. It was easy to learn the metro and how to get around (coming from someone who’s never used public transit). The city is really beautiful, I recommend this destination to anyone who has never been to Europe and wants an “easy” introduction, or for travelers who want to see what Scandinavian life is like. Oh, and if you like architecture, you’ll have a ton to see! 100/10!!!!!

I really fell in love with this human-sized capital.
I really fell in love with this human-sized capital. We were able to explore this city of breathtaking architecture easily on foot, by bus, metro or boat (probably the best visit). Our entire stay was extremely calm and zen, just like the city itself. The shopkeepers are adorable. The people are very pleasant. We can't wait to come back to Denmark to visit the rest of the country.

Beautiful city, pretty pricey but I’m from Scotland so honestly not much difference in price for food etc. I feel there was only so many things I wanted to do before I was like ok what now? Everything worth seeing is probably going to cost but my favourite thing was hiring a bike for the week and just riding around stopping whenever I saw something cool and seeing the city that way. I think you could see the city in an expensive way with all of the museums and attractions but I can’t say I’d recommend this unless money is no object.

Amazing city with something for everyone, they have a number of electric bike operators - I used Lime bikes to get around which was perfect. It is the perfect city to explore by bike. Night life doesn't start until late here and it is relatively expensive to buy food and drinks

It was my first time to Copenhagen, to Denmark as a matter of fact so I booked a few days extra, apart from the main event Colmena.. There is a lot to do and the city is rather small, easy to navigate by foot and public transport.
big towers hotel with very nice and wide rooms with big window to give you Panoramatic review of copenhagen can easily fit for families, Check Inn And out was smooth, Staff were really helpful, Breakfast was nice and testey in big Hall. We really enjoyed the time there, Near to the hotel big shopping mall "Fields" witin 10 minute walking distance.
location of the hotel between the city centre and the airport. Train can be easily accessible in 10 minute to the centre downtown.
The staff is very responsive on email. They are very friendly with your request.
Location is ok if you like to stay close to the airport and is only 2 stops away from the city centre with a good public transport link within Copenhagen.
This hotel is about 5 mins walk from the train station. Please be mindful that the underpass has no lift so you will have to carry a heavy suitcase using a staircase.
Great hotel for a family weekend in Copenhagen. We ate at the MASH on the top floor with a great view of the city. Food was amazing. They have a nice pool with sauna. They offer bike rentals which is the best way to see Copenhagen. Parking is underneath the hotel. Rooms are nicely decorated. Location is perfect, just a 10 min bike ride from the city center. Staff was exceptional.
Very convenient for anyone travelling by car off the Oslo-Copenhagen ferry - only a 5 minute drive from the port. Also only 2 minute walk to the metro, then just a few quick stops to the city centre. The underground car park beneath the hotel is reasonably priced (for Copenhagen) and much appreciated in snowy mid-December. Good working space in the lobby area.
The location is superb. The staff are utterly brilliant and the breakfast is some of the best I have ever experienced. This hotel is a MUST STAY if you are visiting Copenhagen. Everyone at Absalon Hotel works very hard to make their guests feel welcome and happy. Really great experience at a really great hotel.
The hotel is close to the central railway station and the metro station. The city centre is also within walking distance. The rooms are very tiny, has no shelf or storage where you can put your clothes (everything stays in the bag), but still good for a couple of days while you visit Copenhagen.
Location is just perfect, walking distance from the train station, right at the heart of downtown. You can easily walk over to the other side of the river and enjoy the views. They have rich breakfast and also a bar open during the day. Probably the best hostel / hotel in Copenhagen.
This hotel has one of the best and longest breakfast buffets I have ever seen. So many choices, something for everyone!
Staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, though I didn’t have any real issues.
Stayed in a cute single room which had plenty of space for one person.
Very comfortable. The room has everything you need. One of the best hotels I have stayed in in that area of Copenhagen. Excellent breakfast. Conveniently located near train station and shopping center. If you are lucky to get canal view, you are in for a treat!
Wake Up Copenhagen has a great balance between budget and comfort, probably the best I have seen. It's a budget hotel with the look and feel of a better hotel. The location is good. Sure, the room is quite small, but it's fresh, tidy and you have what you need.
Location was great! The hotel is situated opposite a metro station and is a 5-minute walk away from the central railway station (direct trains to Copenhagen airport and Malmo, Sweden), as well as Tivoli theme park. City centre is very close.
Beautiful hotel in the best part of the city. We were walking distance to all of the sites we wanted to see including bars/restaurants/cafes. Overall it was a lovely stay. We would definitely stay here again if/when we return to Copenhagen.
The location is excellent, very close to Train Station and city centre. The staff was very polite. We had a nice breakfast and I can highly recommend the hotel for short staying visits in Copenhagen.
Perfect location for a stay in Copenhagen.
We all have different preferences, but for me the bed were perfect.
Maybe the best nights sleep I ever had at a hotel.
Great breakfast buffet!
Location of the hotel is absolutely centric and close to everything you need in addition, the decoration of the hotel it’s classic modern and the lobby is one of the best lobbies
The price was the lowest that I could find for the hotels near the train station. The staff at the reception are busy but always try their very best to assist.
