This is a hidden gem of a place and the pictures/online presence do not do it justice. Very friendly staff, robust breakfast, quiet and interesting space once you're inside/on property...a little mini-oasis, and just a quick drive or walk down to the beach. I would stay here again coming or going from the Liberia airport in a heartbeat.

Great location - right on the beach and an easy walk to restaurants, etc. Our room was comfortable and clean, and had a balcony with view of ocean. Great restaurant - Roberto's - on the premises. Food and menu selections were very good for both breakfast and dinner. One of my favorite parts of this hotel was all the varied spaces where one could sit outdoors: at the restaurant right on the beach (or up under cover out of the sun); on the upper level where there was a small pool and a great view of the sunset over the water; and at least one area on each floor with a couple of chairs/ loveseat/ coffee table. Highly recommend!

The Suitree is a little hideaway, a perfect location if you want a few days to relax and enjoy the treetop views from your balcony, relax by one of the pools or enjoy the sunset from the lookout tower. Johnny was the perfect friendly host, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Our room was very comfortable and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay there. They had a WhatsApp for messaging and were very quick to answer any questions. You can definitely get a great workout walking up and down those steep hills on the property, luckily there was always a cart available to give you a ride if needed. The food in the Taru restaurant was also great. The mussels and the grilled octopus were delicious. The location is also convenient for getting to the airport.

This property was better than expected. We thought it was more of a bungalow vibe but it was much more upscale. The staff, restaurant, accessibility to the calm beach, the lovely pool all added to a delightful beginning to our Costa Rican adventure.
