We stayed at Niederbauen room, and has a stunning view of the mountain and lake. The room is very spacious and clean, there is a balcony, sofa, and a spa bath. The pillow was too soft for me, but they have a pillow & duvet menu (yes, you read it right - PILLOW AND DUVET Menu!!), so you can request which pillow you preferred.
Staff is professional and friendly. The breakfast is pretty good. Highly recommend this accommodation!

It offers wondeful views of the lake and the mountains and some really nice hotels and restaurants that exceeded our expectations. We loved and enojoyed staying at this hotal. The lake and mountain view is just so bueatiful. The breakfast is exellent. Many variety food and drinks to choose. We enojoyed eating breakfast on the patio with the view of Lake of Luzane and the Mountain every monring. The access to the Hotel is easy. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. the front desk has bus schedule to let you know when next one is coming. It takes 15 min bus to the train station, then take anther 15 min train to the city of Luzane. Or you can walk for 5 min to the Ferry station from the Hotel and ride boat to the City of Luzane. The transpotation in Switzland is so easy and conveniently to use.FengUnited States - 10Scored 10

Beckenried is a good base from which you can visit the area. There is a cable car to the Klewenalp with many walking possibilities, the boats call at Beckenried and you can take trips all over the lake.

great hotel & location, but with no air con in rooms & rubbish service in an over priced restaurant run by inefficient staff who seem to rush around not paying attention to the customers, one order missed then delivered 10 minutes after the first order arrived & missing a vital ingredient no applogies made very indifferent staff on the night. Needs sorting & contact back to me regarding a ruined meal.

If you plan to drive your car into Lucerne, you'll pay steep prices for parking because -- it's Switzerland:) The view of the lake (hotel is situated right on it!) is stunning! The property/decor is updated and beautiful as well. You can sit and enjoy food & drinks with a wonderful view of the lake & mountains. We really enjoyed the peaceful area also (not busy like Lucerne but close enough to get there by car or ferry). The food at the hotel exceeded our expectations. There's a cable car lift to a high vantage point within walking distance to the hotel. We wanted to do it but it was raining hard during that available time so we couldn't.
