Hazyview
With Kruger Park Lodge Golf Club reachable in 10 km, Linvale Country Lodge offers accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. We booked this lodge by chance, hence our expectations were low. But what a gem it turned out to be! Entering the lodge through the macadamia groves you arrive at a green oasis. Large and well-maintained farm surrounded by old trees and blooming bushes. The next thing we were amazed by was the sounds! Like the best bird and insect orchestra. Complimenting these wild surroundings you get a cozy room with a comfortable bed and bathroom. The hosts – Charles and Mine – are simply awesome. Without them, this farm would be just a cozy place. But they made our stay special. From the very first moment when we entered the lodge, we felt that we were in caring hands. How passionate they are about everything they do! Prepping the food (definitely go for their traditional SA dinner), mindful suggestions about travel in the area, and unique information about the region. We felt how the love for Africa started raising in our hearts during our conversations. Finding the fresh flowers in the bathroom and being suggested the chair next to the fire in the evening – such small things made our stay unforgettable. We have only booked two nights and this is something we regret. Getting a few more days to stay would've been perfect. Just staying there doing nothing was already an experience. We couldn’t wish for more, thank you Mine and Charles! Anna & Vasily

This was our final stop in a 10 day trip around Kruger and the greater Kruger area and it was the absolute cherry on top of an amazing exploration. The location on the river is amazing and a dip in the pool looking out at passing wildlife is a true delight. What set this stay apart however was the game drives and our incredible guide Shannon. We were fortunate enough to be able.to see both wild dogs and in our final morning game drive two leopard cubs/eight months old. Shannon is one of the most knowledgeable and professional guides we have encountered in our travels around the world. Her capacity to find wildlife is remarkable and at the same time the respect she has for conservation.meant that we were able to see these rare creatures but without causing them stress. I would go back again in a heart beat and only wish we had been able to spend more time. Bed and room was comfortable. Food was plentiful and delicious.

Very lovely accommodation into the forest of Graskop, very friendly staff and owners! Also great value for money, as we got a whole chalet with living room, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping room plus veranda for our own. Moreover, very nice to have a chilled evening at the fireplace in the living place.
It was a perfect place for relaxed two nights. The owner Rainer was super helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities. He also gave advise on which streets to take and which not. His wife made amazing breakfast, serving not only home made jam but also home made bread and brezels. Our favorite was sitting at the fireplace in our own chalet in the evening. The chalet could easily house 5-6 people on two floors.
The location is my favourite part of this place. It is absolutely beautiful. Also, the wooden cabins are a very nice touch.
The Spa is awesome, the chalet could do with upgrades, the shower is small, the cutlery in the kitchen a bit dated. The activities were great, we did archery and quad biking, very nice There is a fireplace good fir winter, there were plenty blankets.
Everything - the cabin was absolutely beautiful; it exceeded my expectations. it had a BBQ on the terrace and a fireplace inside, plus a great kitchen. The owners were very friendly and made a lovely breakfast. Highly recommend! And stay longer than a night - we wish we could have.
Short drive from town surrounded by indigenous forest. We liked the German style breakfast, very quiet nights, and the atmosphere of the wooden cabins. What other establishment can learn from this, is the abundance of SA “two point” (European style plugs) which most SA cell phone and camera chargers require. Small things like this help to make a holiday without worries!
Situated in an idyllic setting with beautiful wooden cabins. Electric blankets, infrared heater in the bathroom, fire place, beautiful deck with a great view. Great breakfast with homemade products.
Everything. Beautiful accommodation set under indigenous trees in a large well manicured garden. Facilities within the wooden chalet were perfect. Couldn't recommend this place more highly.
The cabin was spacious and comfortable. Two double beds in one large room with kitchenette. Quiet spot, lots of birds. The most impressive part of our stay was not related to the accommodation. Gary, the manager, received a telephone request from my son in the USA to buy me flowers and a bottle of wine and deliver it to the chalet. This was a total surprise. Thank you Gary for heeding the request. Beds were comfortable and water was hot.
