Offering a waterfront pool and a panoramic terrasse over islands of the archipelago, El Caribeo is situated on San Cristobal Island - Bocas del Toro. 10 min boat ride from Bocas Town. Our stay was exceptional. The grounds are beautiful. We snorkeled right in front of the property and it was amazing! We were hosted by Romain, who was very accommodating. Our meals were delicious, the drinks were well made. After dinner, we sat and spoke with Romain about his experiences in Panama and the history of the property. This is a wonderful place to stay and exists only out the determination of a group of young people who wanted to live the Panama dream. We highly recommend it!

The kitchen/ sitting area was spacious. The outdoor balcony is wide with a dining table and a view of the jungle...along with jungle sounds! The cottage is all wood giving it a real comfortable relaxing feeling. Close to the beach and several restaurants. Fabulous...if we ever get back to Bluff we would absolutely stay again 😊

This experience, on this island and in the accommodation, was so powerful that it is impossible to describe it in a few sentences. The owners of the hotel are extremely knowledgeable biologists and can organize for you, private or group tours, to every end of the archipelago, bird watching, night jungle trek, the best snorkeling spots, the most beautiful island in the whole Caribbean, the choice is wall to wall, take the opportunity and explore all the possibilities from Abel. Konsenda has his own boat, with the best captain in Bocas, it is possible to drive to the mainland and discover so much there by car. I will add that although you are absolutely in the jungle, the bungalow has all the comforts, frogs singing at night and birds singing in the morning are the only sounds, Popa Island is the most remote, the cleanest and the quietest, believe me, in the most beautiful coral gardens, you are the only ones! The tranquility of the place was wonderful. It's a 30 min or so boat ride from Bocas Town which is what we wanted since Bocas Town has turned into nothing but a party town with extremely loud music till 3-4 in the morning mid week thru the weekend. So it was wonderful. The staff were exceptional and friendly. Alondra went above and beyond for anything we needed. The food was amazing and fresh. They set up dinner each night on our patio for a nice quiet and intimate dinner. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay!

Nice accommodation in the middle of the jungle.The kitchen was really nice for cooking and was constructed recently. Amazing beaches around and a super nice host, that helped us with everything and likes to talk a lot.

Ralaxing atmosphere, great facillities overall - kayaks and supboards available for free, wonderful place for suntaking and swimming in cristall clear sea. Dishes offered by Clarissa very tasty! Service unbelievable! We stayed for four nights and enjoyed every minute there, we would stay even longer there. The transfer from Bocas del Toras can be arranged by Clarissa, she is in contact with guests before arrival. We highly recommend to visit Nathylodge!

The best place we have stayed in Panama so far! Beautiful area, clean, dolphin spotting from the terrace, free use of wooden canoe, great snorkeling just around the corner, Sebastian is very kind and a good cook. Keep in mind that prices are ex tax and you pay a 10 dollar fee if you pay by credit card :)
