Tekapo Springs and Alpine Springs & Spa are both 4 minutes’ drive away. Hosts were amazing and so lovely to deal with! We loved every bit of our stay! We ended being snowed in and they gratefully let us stay while the road got unblocked… our stay was magical and we would definitely love to come back! So warm and cosy Highly recommend

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the garden views. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The place is slightly away from the town centre but it is totally fine as we can see the sky right after we step out of the house. The house is also good enough to keep us warm. Teresa has been a very nice host to check us up during our stay.

The nearest airport is Richard Pearse Airport, 158 km from Schist Cabin. Loved the cabin. Very clean and well appointed. Comfortable bed. The city of Twizel lost water due to a broken water main while we were there but we were kept aware of the progress made on the repairs.
