The glasshouse room was the most memorable. Surrounded by trees, moonlight and a beautiful waterfall. Owners are so lovely and friendly.

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountain, Rainforest Mount Lodge is situated in Deniyaya. Rain Forest Mount lodge is located opposite the main Pitadeniya entrance to the Sinharaja Rain Forest. Exceptional homestay. We had a stunning view from our bungalow . The family was very welcoming and made us feel at home . Mamas home cooked food was delicious and Chamara gave us an interesting tour through the rainforest. We have been sad to leave and absolutely recommend that place.

My recent stay at Charming Dark Lodge in River was nothing short of exceptional, marking it as the best homestay experience I have ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that exceeded all expectations. The highlight of our stay was undeniably our incredible host, who spared no effort in ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. From delicious lunches and dinners to delightful surprises and the most mouth-watering fish barbecue - probably the best meal I have had in the two months I have been in Sri Lanka. Beyond the culinary delights, our room was a sanctuary of comfort and style. Immaculately clean, equipped with a kitchen containing everything one could possibly need, and beautifully built and decorated. Originally intending to stay for four nights, we found ourselves captivated by the charm of Charming Dark Lodge, extending our stay to twelve nights. Departing was bittersweet, as we had grown attached to the unparalleled hospitality and the tranquil ambiance of our temporary home. A particularly memorable moment was celebrating my birthday during our stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure it was an unforgettable occasion, adding a personal touch that truly made me feel special. Without a doubt, if I ever find myself in Sri Lanka again, Charming Dark Lodge will be my first choice for accommodation. Its unmatched hospitality, and inviting ambiance have left an indelible mark on my travel memories. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly exceptional homestay experience in Sri Lanka.

The quiet away from busy beach, at night there are no street lights, just the stars and fireflies. Close to (100m) very vibrant beach and great surf spot, lots of restaurants and parties, but when you are in need of quiet, its just 100m away. The cabin is stylish and clean with a private garden. Beautiful kitchen for light cooking. Easy to communicate with Andy, he really makes an effort to help with everything you need. Highly recommended to have a great holiday in Hiriketiya.

It was such an amazing stay! The people working on the property always made sure I have a good time and feel comfortable during my stay. We stayed 6 days in this wonderful hotel and it was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip in Sri Lanka!!! The hotel is located in front of the beach and guarantees full immersion in the natural frame with the breathtaking view on the sea and at same time with the comfort and services of the luxury hotel. Furthermore, it is close to interesting tourist areas, amazing beaches, restaurants,…The hotel is modern, cosy, furnished with great taste and sense of details, everything is perfectly clean, the swimming pool is amazing, the food is delicious!!! And the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and staff are just outstanding and make you feel being home. THANK YOU for the stay that we will remember as one of our best hotel stays!

Cinnamon View Lodge Mirissa ตั้งอยู่ในมิริสซาของภูมิภาค Matara District และให้บริการระเบียง ที่พักนี้อยู่ห่างจากหาดเวลิกามา 2.1 กม. Great quiet cabin 5-10min away from Mirissa. Property is on a hill (road is bumpy so take it easy when you drive there) and the cabin is in the backyard of the owners' family house. It's completely private though, you're surrounded by trees, birds, frogs and monkeys. We stayed for two nights, one of which the owner drove us to town and back for dinner, which was was lovely and kind. Host family are lovely and we felt very welcome.
