The guest lounge is located in the old original thatched farmhouse and has an open fireplace, wine cellar and small library for guests enjoyment. We absolutely loved our stay at Ololo. The Staff are amazing, so helpful and always on hand! Ololo is family run (special mention to Fred the family dog) so you feel like you’re really part of the group! The game drives are brilliant and led by very knowledgeable guides, we managed to see 4 of the big 5 in just a couple of days! The food is fantastic, brilliant portion sizes and all home made. We also visited the farm at the back of the property and it was great to see first-hand how Ololo is virtually self sustainable. Our room was so cosy and we even had monkeys playing outside our window most afternoons. We can’t wait to come back soon! HIGHLY recommend.

The linen is very clean and the bed very comfortable. The space is very neat, clean and comfortable. All the amenities available as listed. Most importantly the host, Liz, her family and her right hand lady Ednah are very hospitable. They made the stay memorable and convenient. She’ll even help with late night/ early morning transfers. Loved every bit of it! I look forward to my next stay there.

There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. we wanted to find an accommodation close to the giraffe and elephant park , this accommodation is set in the most stunning surroundings, with the most beautiful little birds flying around the lodge , the lodge is of a very high standard, we wanted to book a safari and they helped us with an excellent trip, I highly recommend to organise a safari from this place also , make sure to ask for Rama as your guide ! This was an amazing experience, the staff are very friendly , highly recommend this lodge !

Kenyatta International Conference Centre is 22 km from Nyati Hill Cottages, while Nairobi National Museum is 24 km from the property. The nearest airport is Wilson, 17 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Excellent location near to all of the attractions and with direct viewing into National park! A few animals even wandered over near to the property! Safe and Secure! We had 3 huts for our family of 5 (2 were bedrooms with bathrooms, 1 for kitchen & dining). Chalo was extremely attentive in arranging all of our taxis/day drivers and ordering food for lunch and dinner. Definitely recommend!

Nairobi city centre is within a 30-minute drive from the property. An airport shuttle can be arranged upon request. Amal and Martin were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. They even organised a doctor to come and do my covid test there at the lodge. In fact all of the staff were lovely.
