Such a lovely cabin, had all the facilities - microwave, toaster, kettle, French press, beautiful new cutlery & plates etc. Underfloor heating was fab. Mattress was so comfortable. Great location and the hosts were so lovely and accommodating.

Breakfast items given by the host were great, and a lovely touch. We traveled for a wedding in Dunmore House and the property was a 2 minute drive away so very handy! We were only down for the weekend but got to see Clonakilty and Inchydoney beach as the house was so close to both. It was a lovely relaxing stay and we wish we could have stayed longer.

If you would like to discover the area, golf, surfing, fishing, walking and many other activities are possible in the surroundings. Dromdiah Lodge is a lovely & comfortable space with beautiful natural design, décor & floor-plan that is the perfect blend of modern with an antique twist. The views out the two bedroom windows were charming; the church & town through one, and trees and a pasture of sheep through the other. On sunny days the light moves through the room in a lovely way. I extended my stay and could have stayed longer! The lodge is just at the edge of town with the pub, small grocery stores, bakery & woodland very nearby. Paudie was a great host; very responsive to messages and offered ideas of how to enjoy the area.

The lodge was beautiful, spotless clean, warm and very comfortable. Sheila and Joan were extremely helpful. We will definitely return.
