Location was great, not too far of a drive for the day of arrival it placed us very close to our first activity on the following day. Poás Volcano and Bajos del Toro Blue Falls trail. The restaurant was great, we had a very tasty warm meal upon our arrival and breakfast was great. The whole facility was beautiful and well groomed. Staff were nice and extremely helpful. They helped us book online the tickets we needed while we used their computer.

The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Very well maintained property! HUGE yard. Beautiful River. Outdoor Kitchen. Lots of birds to see!! Host (Lucia) was wonderful!

Extras include a minibar, a DVD player and cable channels. The room was amazing with a ridiculously epic view and a jacuzzi in the balcony too! Our bathroom was just incredible with a bath, a shower and a separate waterfall shower. The view and location is breathtaking. It’s secluded enough to make you feel slightly off the grid and the scenery is beautiful. There are some amazing plants to see and plenty of humming birds flying around that make the experience magical. Whoever designed this hotel has put a lot of thought into detail and must have loved nature. There are waterfalls at the property which cannot be missed.

The spacious chalet features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with mountain views. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Great house, with beautiful view. Check-in was easy with keys in a locker, easy access, great location close to Poas and La Paz.

Offering a garden and garden view, Deluxe boutique lodge is situated in Vara Blanca, 6.2 km from La Paz Waterfall Gardens and 7.6 km from La Paz Waterfall. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 15 km from Poas National Park. The Deluxe Boutique Lodge was perfect in so many ways. We booked this location to be close to Poas National Park and La Paz Waterfall Garden. It was 20 minutes to one and 10 to the other. Walter met us at the property even though due to weather and construction we were about an hour late. He also became our lifesaver that day. Again, due to weather, a family member was delayed arriving into San Jose. Walter volunteered to drive down to San Jose and pick her up. The property is located on the main road into the small village of Vara Blanca, walking distance to restaurants and shops. The Lodge is super clean and very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable, the WIFI very good and the huge TV was a welcome diversion during the stormy weather. We do not hesitate to recommend this property

Wish we had booked a extra night.
