The property was up the coast from Bahía Solano on Mecana Beach. A remote and beautiful part of the Pacific Coast. I didn't like the hotel I had originally booked so I quickly packed up and made this reservation last minute. I didn't know I'd have to take a boat from Bahía Solano (Mutis) to get there (I didn't read closely enough) but the owner Laura quickly arranged to have us picked up at the dock and we were sitting eating fresh fish and drinking cold beer after a short (20 minute) boat ride. This place was magical, both because of the setting but also largely due to Laura's energy and passion for the property. She is a warm, caring and accepting person and I feel lucky that we got to meet her and stay at her ecohotel. The food was delicious, fresh fish every day and everything was made in house. The place was perfect and just two minutes walk through the trees to the spectacular and peaceful beach. If you're the kind of traveller who needs air conditioning, sterilized rooms or you are high maintenance in any way I would say that this property is probably not for you. If you're like me and love to be close to nature and want to unplug and enjoy then don't hesitate to book here. I would go back tomorrow if I could!

Το Ecohotel Bahía Terco είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στη θάλασσα που βρίσκεται σε Nuqui. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο και κοινόχρηστη κουζίνα. We have just spent 5 unforgettable days in Bahia Terco! Between the jungle and the ocean, we find this haven of peace! Claudia's kindness and Francisco's humor made this trip a wonderful one. Many thanks to Mirka and her fabulous cooking. Every dish from breakfast to dinner was perfect and above all local! Flavors you won't forget. In this place, we find Colombia as we dream of it, silence, nature. Francisco and Claudia helped us organize everything from the arrival from the airport, the activities, until the return. We shared moments together and an outing with them, to discuss everything, life, to learn from their daily lives! What happiness. We saw whales and the first swim of turtles! It is a place that I recommend 100%. If you are looking for a quiet place, with a heavenly beach, you have found the ideal hotel!! A huge crush ! Amis français, fonçez ! Cet hôtel nous ramène aux sources, vivre avec la nature et son temps. Muchas gracias Francisco&Claudia !!

Το Irana Pacific Hotel παρέχει καταλύματα σε Nuqui με θέα στη θάλασσα και διαθέτει κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, βεράντα και ιδιωτική παραλία. Παρέχεται δωρεάν WiFi. Property is well equipped, room was very comfy and a beautiful sea view. The food was amazing (thanks to Diana and Dayana for their love and unique cuisine). We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Irana. You have 5 km of beach only for yourself. Forget about crowded places and constant sellers, this is like having an island for yourself, surrounded by the jungle and the sea. Esteban and Marcela, both owners and administrators, will take care of all your needs. They are extremely helpful and will help you arrange all the activities you want to do. Despite coming during low season (not the whale season) we had plenty of choices and activities to do (we even did an amazing 6h hike through the jungle to a beautiful double cascade). Esteban and Marcela, besides our guide, came along and hiked with us. We will be back, for sure!

Το El Retoño del Negro Gozón βρίσκεται σε Nuqui και προσφέρει καταλύματα με πρόσβαση σε κήπο. The host were so incredibly friendly and nice. They greeted me with a coconut with a flower in it when I arrived and prepared coconuts for me often when I came back from a day. The room was right in front of the beach so I could go to sleep listening to the waves crash and watch the sunset from the hammock on my front porch. I was there during the low tourist season so it was very peaceful and quiet and this place is located between the two towns (about a 15 min walk to each town) so it was maybe the most peaceful place I’ve ever been. They also keep the grounds very clean, are very helpful with any questions, and Pengo is an excellent chef!

Το El Vijo Surf είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στη θάλασσα που βρίσκεται σε Nuqui. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο, υπηρεσία θυρωρείου, μπαρ, κήπο και βεράντα. El Vijo is a paradise, I would especially recommend it for groups and couples. It is about a 20 mins walk to the next (very) small village, although the walk is not always possible due to the tide. Adolpho and Deude did an amazing job. The food was delicious and Adolpho very kind and helpful. As a solo traveller I would recommend somewhere else but for couples seeking tranquility or groups of friends looking for an amazing experience I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to my next stay there.

To Ecolodge Mar y Rio, το οποίο βρίσκεται σε Nuqui, παρέχει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi, κήπο με βεράντα και θέα στη θάλασσα. Μερικές μονάδες περιλαμβάνουν χώρο καθιστικού ή/και μπαλκόνι. The accommodation is located in a quiet bay which can be reached from nuqui in only 45 minutes by speedboat. During our stay, the whole family was there. They cooked for us every evening. It is also recommended as there are no restaurants in the area. Ideal location for trips to jovi and thermales. The rooms are functionally furnished and correspond to the standard in choco. Electricity was only available in the morning and evening. But this is the case with all hotels in choco. In general, it is very recommendable for relaxing and long walks on the beach.

Το Finca El Regalo παρέχει καταλύματα σε Capurgana με θέα στη θάλασσα και έχει δωρεάν ποδήλατα, κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και βεράντα. Gabriella the owner was super nice and welcoming and very helpful , the property is located a bit out of town but is very beautiful .

Αυτό το παραθαλάσσιο οικολογικό καταφύγιο περιβάλλεται από τροπικό δάσος και βρίσκεται στην άκρη του Cape Corrientes, στην ακτή του Ειρηνικού της Κολομβίας. isolated, peace, it’s a not for beginners - you have to like and love nature to enjoy it. If you can do some kind of hard trails, you will have the best connecting with nature in its original state. the place is very good taste, with minimum intervention in the environment. it’s a place to disconnect to the world and the internet and connect to yourself. And as a plus, meals are served in one table and you will have the chance to make new frieds, as I did!

Βρίσκεται σε ένα φυσικό καταφύγιο, 50μ. από την παραλία El Almejal και 1χλμ. από το κέντρο της πόλης El Valle, Το El Almejal προσφέρει ρουστίκ καταλύματα με θέα στη ζούγκλα στο Mutis. The good service, specially Luisa which took care of finding tours when the conditions were not ideal. Nice shelters. Everything was very clean. The jungle just a few meters with a long walk behind the hotel. Many animals to be seen from the hotel, lizards, squirrel, colibri... Avialable coffee and water. Night fire.

Το Acuali EcoHostal βρίσκεται στο Capurganá, στην όμορφη ακτή της Καραϊβικής και προσφέρει εστιατόριο και σπα. Αυτό το απομονωμένο hostel προσφέρει υπαίθριες δραστηριότητες. Loved the shower it gave you privacy while also seeing the jungle!
