Nice clean hotel in quiet area but only a 20 minute walk to town center. Had free parking and didn't have to move the car to enjoy city. Karin the receptionist was very nice.

Only 1 km from the centre of Maribor, the Črni Baron Pension Black Baron is located in Malečnik, 20 metres from a bus stop. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Quiet location slightly out of the centre of town but still close to everything. Great restaurant on site. Good English.

They upgraded us to a larger room for free. We travelled by an electric car and managed to charge there for free. The hosts were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was good, especially the coffee - the best coffee we ever had in a hotel with the free breakfast. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the old town in a quiet neighbourhood. We loved our stay.
