Beautiful location, great for hiking and cycling; other places such as skocjan caves and Trieste are nearby for a day trip. The accomodation has an really authentic look and feel and Mirjana is a wonderful host. We definitely recommend the breakfast and wine tasting.

Boasting garden views, Prenočišča Iris offers accommodation with balcony, around 20 km from The Škocjan Caves. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Picturesque location, calm and cosy area.

ČEBRON FAMILY ESTATE is situated in Branik and has a pool with a view and mountain views. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The view, the environment and the wine selection by the pool were really worth the drive. A perfect retreat between the wineyards.

Featuring mountain views, Hiša posebne Sorte features accommodation with patio, around 29 km from Trieste Train Station. Service is excellent, food and wine brilliant. Rooms were convenient and the location is beautiful.

Boasting accommodation with a terrace, Apartma Furlan is situated in Štanjel. The property is around 26 km from Piazza Unità d'Italia, 26 km from Trieste Port and 27 km from San Giusto Castle. The apartment was clean and quiet. We slept so well. I used WhatsApp to communicate with the host and they were welcoming and kind. The free parking and ability to view the beautiful city from the terrace and then walk up in 10min was perfect!

Set within 8.5 km of The Škocjan Caves and 15 km of San Giusto Castle, Casa Krasna Gourmet Boutique Hotel offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Lokev. The room was very large and the bathroom very large and smart too. Breakfast was excellent with freshly prepared local produce. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Located in Divača and only 4 km from The Škocjan Caves, Homestead Vrbin provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. There was breakfast there in the morning. It was very good. Typical Slovenian breakfast. There was also a restaurant there in the evening so if you didn't want to go out you could eat there.

Offering a terrace, Apartmaji in sobe Marija Jera Štanjel is set in the medieval village of Štanjel. Vipava is 16 km away. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. We had a brilliant family holiday, with a lovely, kind host , in a beautiful village. Our room was comfortable, we did not have any problems with the shared bathroom. The kitchen is spacious, very well equipped. There is enough room to sit down to have breakfast even if there are other guests. Marija and her husband are very helpful and informative.Here I also would like to wish them good health and enough power to run this guesthouse for a long time. The village is simply magnificient. It was great to walk around in the mornings, its narrow streets and the great garden gives it a nice atmosphere. It is really hard to leave this calm and beautiful village behind, however, it is the best possible starting point to visit all the places of interests in a 50-60 kms of circle, all around Italy and Slovenia. We could spend there two weeks at least without being bored. So...definitely we will go back and can recommend the place to anybody.
