City Centre Escape, a property with a garden and a terrace, is located in Napier, 2.8 km from Hardinge Road Beach, 1.2 km from McLean Park, as well as 1.7 km from Pania of the Reef Statue. A home away from home. We have been traveling for 5 weeks since it was nice to do washing and have home cooked meals instead of eating out. Close to downtown.

Property is very clean and spacious , hosts are very friendly, I like the room decor. Also very easy to park. Close to the port and giant’s chair.

My husband and I had to cancel our booking because of a road closure, shocking weather and an accident my husband had. Owner was wonderful, sympathetic, thoughtful and considerate of our decision.

What a treat to stay. A wonderful welcoming place in the centre of Napier. Close by the sea, the beach, the beautiful boulevard, the restaurants and the shops. It immediately felt like home. Esther and Tom are the most lovely hosts, you’ll may experience. Nothing is too much trouble, just perfect in every way. Esther has amazing home cooking and fresh baking available for the mornings and afternoon. They are also full of local knowledge and trivia, if you need any recommendation for visiting places in the area. The house and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Fantastic bathrooms with walk-in shower, heated floors and luxurious toiletries. So many lovely things are presented, like homemade cakes or cookies when you arrive back at home in the afternoon. Freshly made, fruit salads, cakes, jams, and bread in the morning with the choice of either cooked or continental breakfast. Drinking tea or wine in the afternoon with all sorts of freshly made nibbles. Port and chocolates at bedtime. We’ve stayed at many 5 star accomodations in the world , but this place is so much more…… Words fail us; you have to see and experience it for yourself! Therefore, we would encourage anyone visiting Napier in New Zealand to treat themselves to this quintessential experience. Our stay at this luxury accomodation, 415 Marine Parade was definitely one of the most memorable stays of our holiday in New Zealand. It was sad to move on, but we will definitely return to this place when we return to NZ. Esther and Tom, thank you for your generous hospitality. XXX R&B
