We enjoyed the panoramic view from the balcony (especially for breakfast), as well as the very welcoming family running the rooms. They helped us at every stage of our stay (notably taxi and tuktuk reservation, booking of activities). The room was great, with a confortable bed and a large bathroom. We highly recommend staying at Duet Hearts !

One of my best accommodations in Sri Lanka. If you want to have a real homestay experience, I highly recommend Holly House Homestay. Renuka and Deveka are such a lovely couple - they are very kind and caring. I only spent 2 nights with them, but they gave me good tips to go around the area during my short stay. Their little boy Imeth is adorable and smart! He’s learning English in pre-school, so you can talk to him in English.

The value for money. The staff. Almost everything. I stayed there for 2 weeks last February. I liked the hotel a lot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hashan the owner treated us as his own guests. He is very generous and hospitable. The food was very delicious and authentic. Haputale is very calm place and less touristy than Ella. I loved it more than Ella. It is surrounded by tea plantations, and very ery close to Horton Plains and Lipton’s seat. The hotel arranged trips for us to those places and to Udawalawe National Park. The roads around the hotel are great for trekking.

Awesome location, just a stroll away from the town centre. Very friendly staff who helped me find a bus to Tangalle after my stay, and all in all were always there for me. Tasty breakfast every morning. And the view... Absolutely amazing! Good starting point for the Ella Rock hike. Would love to come back one day!

Rainbow Sky Cottage ligger i Ella, 6,5 km från Demodara Nine Arches Bridge och 45 km från Hakgala Botanical Garden, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och en trädgård med en lekplats och bergsutsikt.... Unfortunately my friend and I were not able to really enjoy the comforts of this place because we were so busy running around Ella. However, the homestay owners were the friendliest, the view was breathtaking, and I loved how quiet it was. The shower had hot water, the place was so clean (and so is the town!), and the beds with the mosquito net made me feel like a princess. Be mindful of animals.

We planned to stay only 2 nights, and extended to 5 nights! The rooms are perfect, the view is amazing, the host and his family are so nice and helpful, we felt like home!
