Mr. Zai and Miss Kim are very kind and very serious people.The staff also deserves a word. They also help you with very fair prices in issues like laundry, bycicles tours,currencies,etc..

DD Guest House, a property with a bar, is set in Pakse, 400 metres from Wat Luang, less than 1 km from Pakse Bus station, as well as a 13-minute walk from Wat Phabat. Great value for money, the host was very nice. Room is spacious enough

Pan guest house is set in Ban Donsôm and has a garden, a terrace and a bar. This guest house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. A very nice family run guest house right next to the Mekong with a view from the poolside deck downstream to the old French railway bridge. Our room was at the front facing the river and had a nice balcony with a small table and deck chairs. The large pool was kept clean the entire time we were there. The owner was warm and welcoming and has good English so was able to help with enquiries and onward bookings. She also produced delicious inexpensive home cooked Lao meals and had a good supply of essentials such as cold beer. This is really good value accommodation, not luxury, but perfectly comfortable and everything you need. We were booked to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 6. Highly recommended.

With river views, Chanhthida Riverside Guesthouse and The River Front Restaurant is set in Ban Khon and has a restaurant and a housekeeping service. The position of the place is perfect to discover the island. The person that handles the property is amazing, struggling a little bit with the English but he will definitely try to help you with your questions. The food is amazing as well and the restaurant is on the river, perfect for enjoying a nice breakfast!

Situated in Don Det in the Champasak region, Tavendang Guesthouse has a balcony. This 1-star guest house offers a housekeeping service and free WiFi. Guests can make use of a terrace. This place stole my heart. Located on the sunrise side of Dondet, it’s the place where to relax and recharge. The room is clean and spacious, same goes for the bathroom. The terrace of the bungalow offers a lovely view directly on the Mekong river. Wifi is fast and stable, I could work and have online meetings without any issue (40/50 mbps). The family who owns the bungalows also owns the restaurant right in front. They are extremely friendly and willing to help for anything you may need. Laundry service is offered for 15k per kilo. The area is quiet — just few restaurants around. Across the bridge you can rent a bicycle for 15k per day. This area is about 30 minutes baking from the sunset side of the island. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will also definitely come back!

Clean and spacious room in an excellent location. We even had a balcony with a river view. The staff is always very friendly, helpfu land a pleasure to talk to.

Perfect guesthouse for a cozy stay. We appreciated the large room and the private veranda. The view from the verandah over the Mekong is simply fantastic. We would have liked to stay much longer. The accommodation is quiet and clean. The location is perfect: in the quiet part and yet not far from restaurants. It is possible to book tickets for onward travel. Boats pick you up directly from the guesthouse.
