Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Kaiseki dinner was very delicious! And served on time. Private bath also very clean and comfortable. Public bath onsen really big and has very nice view of mt. fuji. Great service to have pick up shuttle from hotel to kawaguchiko terminal. Definetly will come back.

Hotel Asafuji erbjuder boende i luftkonditionerade rum i japansk stil med grönt te. Alla rum och de varma källbaden har utsikt över berget Fuji och Kawaguchisjön. Traditionellt japanskt boende som var rymligt och fint. Deras onsen med utsikt över mOunt Fuji var jättefint och det var sällan fullt med folk. Den japanska maten var spännande och god.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. This was an exceptional stay. While the onsen doesn't offer a direct view of mount Fuji, we could clearly see it on our drive over thanks to clear skies. When we entered the premises, the staff was attentive immediately. From taking our luggage to making sure we were set up in our room. The room was SPACIOUS, with a lounge area and bedroom with screens to close off sections. The highlight was having our own outdoor bath to enjoy during cold winter nights. Perhaps the most breathtaking aspect of our stay were the meals. We were blown away by our dinner. It was the best thing we ate during out entire trip in Japan (we were in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto prior). We enjoyed a sumptuous parade of dishes that really showed off the local ingredients. We didn't think it could get better, but breakfast the next day was equally, if not more, delicious. While expensive, we enjoyed a serene getaway with our private outdoor bath and excellent meals. Would love to return.

The view of the Mont Fuji was spectacular. I just didn't want to leave... I regret to have stayed only 1 night but as 1st time and maybe last in Japan we didn't want to miss any other city during our holiday trip. The man owner (I guess) was very nice and friendly. He even bring us once to à coach station on his way. Very kind of him. The kitchen with the barbecue and tv was super nice too. Don't forget to bring your meat or food, as we did the same day, from Osaka before we arrive but bare in mind that the kitchen provide all cutleries, cooking oil, coffee, sugar, boiler and tea for free. Also, shampoo and soap. The glamping tent was very big, clean and beautiful. They are a lot of bikes from the hotel that you can use for free. We used it with my husband and my young daughter. We really enjoyed driving from the glamping to the lake Kawagachi using the small kind of village street (around 10minutes) with this beautiful view of Fuji and blossom flowers. There is also from the lake a nice bike way next to te river where you can drive safely instead of staying on the car road if you want to drive until the center but it will a bit far, i guess around 30minutes or more... We stop earlier but it was still amazing. Please check my pics. I also like the small mini forest next to the hotel. We were feeling like in an fairy world as I was imaginating when I was younger reading books but it is my personal opinion... We were lucky to see Mont Fuji during the 2 days but be aware that it is possible to don't see it at all so if it is really a dream to see it and that you are coming from far make sure it is sunny or try to stay more days..

Temperature control in the dome and in the kitchen were very easy to adjust.

Glamping Cottage Kawaguchiko ligger i Fujikawaguchiko i regionen Yamanashi, nära Fujiomuro Sengen Shrine, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. The location was easily navigated by google map and close to the Main Street which takes 5-10min drive to supermarket and convenience store nearby, and about 10-15 min drive to local restaurants. Not too close to lake kawaguchiko tourist area ( i wasn’t the one driving but it felt like a 20-30min ride) and the outdoor living space and neighborhood was quiet.

八海 木花館 ligger i Oshino, 10 km från Fuji-Q Highland, och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, gratis privat parkering och en trädgård. Service was impeccable. The location was amazing - I had a view of Mt. Fuji from my room. It was the perfect relaxing retreat that I had in mind.
