The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The picked us up and the port, helped us make dinner reservations and even offered to drive us to the restaurant. The home is so beautiful and comfortable, very well stocked and the hosts provided a ton of food (for snacks and breakfast). They really go above and beyond. The location is also really great for exploring Naoshima.

Offering inner courtyard views, 瀬戸風月 is an accommodation located in Takamatsu, 3.8 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu and 3.8 km from Kitahamaebisu Shrine. This accommodation left a lasting impression on us during our brief stay. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to welcome us warmly to Takamatsu and provide invaluable advice on what to experience in the city. We were blown away by their hospitality and felt disappointed that we had only booked one evening at their lovely home. This experience has left such a positive impact on us that it makes me want to visit Takamatsu again.

BATONWORKS Naoshima is situated in Naoshima, 700 metres from Sumiyoshi-taisha Temple, less than 1 km from Naoshima Pavillion, as well as 1.7 km from Gokaisho Art House Project. - nice remote video introduction by the owner, she took a lot of time to explain everything - the e-bikes provided were very convenient to get around the island. we also appreciated that the e-bikes were high performant - good for hill climbs on Naoshima! - very comfortable beds - there is a seating area in the room and a well equipped kitchen, which is helpful because there are not too many places to eat out in Naoshima

Offering quiet street views and free WiFi, Kamome Jyuku offers accommodation ideally set in Takamatsu, within a short distance of Kitahamaebisu Shrine, Liminal Air-core Takamatsu and Sunport Fountain.... Masako-san of Kamome Jyuku had gone out of the way to assist us when we inadvertently left some of our belongings in the apartment at check out. She personally took the trouble to make arrangements with our hotel in Tokyo for the items to be couriered, and even called up the Tokyo hotel stuff to finalise the details. We were indeed grateful for Masako-san's dedication and professionalism.

Featuring 5-star accommodation, Onyado Shikishima-kan is set in Kotohira, 40 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu and 40 km from Sunport Fountain. The food was amazing, quality and quantity. It seemed like the longer we stayed, the more we were treated. The private onsen rooms were fabulous, too. We went several times each day!

TSUMUYA features a balcony and is set in Naoshima, within just 1.5 km of Ando Museum and 1.5 km of Gokuraku-ji Temple. It was amazing to have the whole house. Fantastic like home from home. The location was the best and the fact we could walk to the beach (yellow pumpkin) in ten minutes for a swim at 5pm was fabulous Our hosts made restaurant booking for us and we sat at the kitchen counter with the locals watching our food being cooked in front of us

Located in Kasuga, 26 km from Takamatsu, Asan Kotonami features a terrace and views of the mountain. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Great rooms in a peaceful setting. Dinner and breakfast superb. Staff lovely. Wine was a very reasonable cost

It is one of our favorite places that we stayed during our month in Japan. The owner is extremely personable and makes you feel very welcome. The little house is very clean and had everything that we needed. I would highly recommend Mrs. Maroulla’s House.
