Set in Haukadalur and only 4 km from Geysir, Náttúra Yurtel offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. What a wonderful experience it was, unique and I would say one of the attractions in Iceland, I wish we stay longer.

Set in Fludir, in a building dating from 1993, Skyggnir Bed and Breakfast offers a garden and guestrooms with free WiFi. Featuring a shared lounge, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The location is beautiful. Stephan and Silke are wonderful hosts. Made us feel at home straight away.

Lækjaborgir Guesthouse is located in Kálfafell, 26 km east of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. From the moment we stepped into the house, it was obvious that the owner had put allot of effort and love into making this place. You could tell that, by the warm decoration of the room and cosy feel, the brand new furniture, the smell of cleanliness, the well washed dishes and silverware, the well stocked kitchenette with coffee, cooking oil, salt and pepper, etc, the abundance of clean towels, the assortment of board games, and so on. This is one of those places were you wish you would get stranded because of weather or whatever, so that you have an excuse to stay there for a week and just relax and enjoy life.

The Garage has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Varmahlíð, 14 km from Skogafoss Waterfall. With lake views, this accommodation features a patio. Anna and Siggi's place was our favorite place we stayed at during our trip around Iceland. The location is incredible--there's a waterfall in their backyard and the ocean right in front. Our room had an incredible view, and the room itself was clean, comfortable, and charmingly decorated. We used the kitchenette in our rooms which was well stocked, but there's also a shared kitchen with some baked goods Anna had made (delicious!). The only downside is that it's a bit far from any towns, so make sure you eat/stock up before arriving, but it also means that the place is quiet and dark in the evenings--perfect for stargazing, which we did. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again!

Hvammból Guesthouse is a small, family-run guest house situated 10 km from Vík. Very comfortable and super close to all the main interesting places of the areas! 10 minutes to Vik, to the black beach and to the hail. 25 minutes to Skogafoss and 40 minutes to Seljalandsfoss. Perfect!

Árbakki Farmhouse Lodge offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 18 km of Geysir and 28 km of Gullfoss Waterfall. Ļoti atsaucīgs saimnieks ar interesantu vēsturi, milzīgs paldies!Mirdzoši tīrs un kārtīgs. Ģimeniska, autentiska un mājīga sajūta. Brokastis labas Islandes viesnīcas līmenī burvīgā verandā. Drošība - katrai istabai koda durvis. Kaut arī neizmantojām, + ir ūdens baļļas iespēja.
