A recently renovated apartment in Akureyri and within 34 km of Godafoss Waterfall, K16Apartments has ski-to-door access, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. Really well designed - plenty of room for a couple and teenage children. Great location. Clean, very comfortable beds, well appointed, quiet. We were very grateful for the washing machine and dryer. Would definitely return.

Fantastic value for money, especially compared to some overrated places in Akureyri or Vik.

The best night in Iceland; I give this house 100/10 points. We received a nice treat from the host. It feels like more than a house; it feels like 'home.' The facilities, especially the kitchen, are excellent. Everything is clean, and the bed is so comfy. We had a great night here.

Tjörn 1 is a recently renovated guest house in Hvammstangi, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property features mountain and garden views. Everything was great. Very spacious, well-equipped. One of the best accomodations we had on our Trip. And we even got to see the northern lights, since there's not much around 🙂

Featuring a hot tub, Bakkakot 3 Cozy Cabin In The Woods is located in Akureyri. A hot tub is available for guests. The bungalow was very comfortable and cosy, located in the woods. Fairytale and very romantic place. There is a queen size bed, video option with movies, table and small kitchen inside. The bathroom was enough big. We will recommend for dinner the Eyri restaurant on the lake, only 10 minutes away from the property. It´s a gourmet one (higher price level) but all very tasty with an excellend wine choice. Near Akureyri we will highly recommend also to visit the Forest Lagoon (thermal baths).

Located in Sauðárkrókur, Helluland Guesthouse has a shared lounge. The property features river and garden views. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. It was a really nice stay with a stunning view. We were also allowed to visit horses and sheep in the farm, which was great. Overall, an awesome experience!

Sólheimagerði Guesthouse is located in Varmahlid. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Absolutely romantic little cabin in the middle of nowhere (on a farm), surrounded by cute animals (horses, duck, sheep and a dog). This cottage has the perfect size for two, including the bed (they are usually very small in Iceland but not here). It has a fully functional kitchen including fridge and microwave, very nice porcelain and overall the owner choose not only very tasteful furniture and fittings but also good quality. Unfortunately we had a cloudy night as this place is ideal for Aurora Borealis watching otherwise. Super nice and responsive owner too.
