The Pipers Rest is set in Doolin, off the main road, just a 2-minute walk from two of Doolin's traditional Irish music pubs. All rooms feature tea/coffee making facilites and complimentary WiFi. Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Our hosts, Wolfgang and Maria were delightful and so helpful. We felt at home in our cosy Burren suite and also in the common areas. Breakfasts were amazing. Our 9 night stay would have to be the best ever for me.

It is right in the town of Kilfenora. There were great places for breakfast and it is close to many sightseeing locations. The rooms were very nice, comfortable, and roomy with a nice garden view. Nuola was grand. She was very helpful about all things -- sightseeing, where to eat, etc. and whenever she said the weather was going to be great -- she was right on point. She was a great hostess. I enjoyed my stay at this property and will be back here.
