The host was amazing - she provided a lot of local information including best sites and shops. She even knew the 'usual spots' where sloths would hang out. Thanks to her advice we saw sloths and even kinkajous in the evening. Rooms are cozy and have everything you need: AC and hot water.

I loved my stay!! Angie and her daughter Anielka were extremely responsive and attentive! Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!

The house and grounds were a perfect getaway. The staff were all so nice and accommodating. They showed us the fruit-bearing trees around our little bungalow and the sloth asleep in the tree right outside. It was a short walk to the Reggae bar and beach.

The bathrooms were fantastic. A Big shower in the bedroom that worked perfectly with good pressure and temperature. The kitchen had everything we needed. The whole property was clean, well built and well maintained. It was nice and quiet and only a very short walk into town. Valentina was very helpful and friendly. She answered all questions we had and gave us a little map to use for getting around town. She gave us good recommendations where to eat and where we should visit while there.

Free private parking is available on site. 5 ⭐️We just left Cahuita Inn after a 5 night stay in the little town of Cahuita. Family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens). We stayed in two rooms beside one another so we could spread out a bit. The property is small but plenty. The waterfront is gorgeous although not swimmable (coral) but the pool is perfect for that! The owners were wonderful and the staff AMAZING! We were fortunate to have howler monkeys wake us 2 mornings of our stay. They were right on the property crossing in front of the rooms. We also saw 1-5 sloths a day but we had to look hard for them. The restaurant is probably the best Italian food we’ve ever had! The servers are top notch and super friendly. Although the bigger town of Puerto Viejo is a 20 min drive away, you won’t be disappointed with this location or the accommodations. The rooms were big, bright, airy, comfortable and clean! Everything you need is within walking distance! We can’t wait to come back!!

The houses will provide you with a patio and a seating area.... it was a beautiful location and very close to the entrance of the national park. we also enjoyed seeing the monkeys and chickens around the area and made friends with a cat!

Hotel El Colibri Rojo - Cabinas - Le Colibri Rouge is a bed and breakfast hotel located 3 km from Cahuita centre. and 300 metres from National Park Cahuita. The property is beautiful and easy to find. It backs onto the national park and you can enjoy the sounds of the wildlife in the park. The family running the hotel are amazing and made our stay even better. The breakfast is delicious and a perfect way to start your day before heading out. We would definitely recommend anyone who’s visiting Cahuita to stay here!

Just 50 metres from the beach, Hotel El Encanto is located in Cahuita and features a pool and a restaurant. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and private terraces. Absolutely wonderful. Room was clean and functional. Pool and facilities exceptional. Breakfast was included and very scrumptious. On site iguanas 🦎, sloths 🦥 and frogs.
