Leo was more than helpful to see nocturnal animales. The apartmant was extraordinary. La Fortuna is very close even on foot. You can walk down to the river.

The bungalow apartment is new (6 months) very nice and well equipped (fan + AC + kitchen). It’s in a very calm neighborhood in nature. The host is very nice and friendly, he understands English and his wife speaks English. He’s very careful to speak slowly and with easy words if you want to train your Spanish :) Good breakfast with typical galo pinto + eggs and something else that changes + tea or coffee. We enjoyed our stay :)

The owner was a very nice man who welcomed us in a special way on arrival. Thank you. The accomodations are 'tents' but very comfortable. Daily breakfast was very good. Generally, continental, but you are offered scrambled or fried eggs cooked to order. Pool area is very nice. Beautiful grounds.

Wellness Park CR ligger i La Fortuna och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering, 22 km från Slimnic citadell. It was very cosy and a nice retreat. You wake up in a park with hummingbirds in front of your door and a great view of the volcano. Then you can hike the Park trails (ca.3h) and experience a hidden jungle, waterfall with a lot of fauna. Also there is a cool viewpoint where you can get a photo of the volcano and the jungle.

Birds & Breakfast Costa Rica ligger i La Fortuna och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen samt en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. The owners are super nice and helpful. They wreak havoc both working for many years as rangers on the rain forest reserve right by bird and breakfast so they are super knowledgeable about the area, animals and plants. Great place to view Toucans and many other birds. We also did the night tour with Fabio which was great :)
