Everything is designed so beautifully, you feel like you’re staying in a charming old house but with all of the modern amenities. and very nice touches such as garden showers and baths if you choose. The surrounding landscape is breathtaking, with lots of rolling green hills to look out over the horizon. Rob and Dawn are so welcoming and very helpful in giving you insights about out of the way places to visit in the area. All the meals were delicious, using only fresh ingredients skillfully prepared—including home baked bread. I can’t wait to go back!

This is an absolutely gorgeous guest lodge, with beautiful gardens, a pool, and beautiful views of the valley. The room was beautiful and 5 star. People were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed working and relaxing at Abangane and had quite a few good meals at the restaurants close by at Perry's Bridge in Hazyview.
