The decor, bright and cheerful, adds to the spacious charm of the home. The rooms are luxuriously huge with lots of natural light. The place is kept spic and span all the time. The self-checkin system works to a T and is so convenient. There is a covered garage if you have a motorcycle. There is a variety of eating places and food within short walking distances - excellent pho & bun of all types, roasted duck, banh mi, traditional Vietnamese snacks, fresh fruits etc. Just slightly farther away is the well-provisioned Seu Thi Thanh Do supermarket, offering everything you could want at very attractive prices. Closer to Home is the modern WinMart. Along the way to it, you can take in the iconic Phai Ve Mountain Flagpole. Other highly-recommended attractions (Mac Dynasty Citadel, Tam Thanh Cave & Pagoda, Dong Ni Thanh grotto) are located nearby enough that you could see them on a day-long self-guided walking tour. I also rented one of Camellia's well-maintained motorcycle for a trip to Mau Son mountain peak. At night, you can relax with a Netflix-subscription movie in your own room on your comfortable bed. Camellia is a highly approachable and genuinely helpful host. She organized my limo bus trip from and back to Hanoi and saved me money doing so. Camellia Home is truly a Lang Son gem.

the homestay is clean and well maintained. it has the mountainous view which is spectacular. the staff is very friendly and helpful.

It was a really nice hotel to stay in for several nights in Lang Son. The rooms are very comfortable with all the main necessities and furniture required for a good stay (I stayed 2 nights and extended for another 2). They have air-conditioning, a flat screen TV (smart TV's with Netflix etc.), a small fridge, really comfortable beds, a set of table & chairs, wardrobe, small desk, WiFi (only OK), kettle, hair-dryer and private bathroom with bathtub/shower combination (with good hot water). The only issue I had with the bathroom is that the shower heads are too low... but it's not a big issue. The hotel is very quiet and is set back from the road via a small driveway that opens to a large carpark. The reception/lobby area is big, too, and has an elevator to access the floors. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant. However, it's conveniently situated close to many local restaurants/eateries, bakeries and a small Winmart within 50 metres. Highly recommended, and when I return to Lang Son, I won't look for anywhere else to stay unless I have to.

Big room, enough hot water for 2 long showers and there is the possibility to park your motorbike inside (downstairs).
